It's not done until it's done.

We can always count on Charlie accidentally throwing the contract away when the misses makes him take out the garbage

Personally think those wondering why he'd leave for Bayern 'to win a few tin-pot Bundesliga titles' are being a small bit naive.

Bayern are currently second favourites to win the Champions League, and that's without them having signed arguably the best Striker in the world. If Kane signs for Bayern and manages to fire them to the Champions League, he would have a massive chance at winning a Ballon' Dor as he would be viewed as their star player.

So in the space of three years, Kane would very much see himself having a chance at winning 3 league titles, 3 league cups, a Champions League and a Ballon' Dor. And I can absolutely guarantee that Tuchel has been telling him that nonstop all Summer.

There's no doubt I think that he'd very much prefer that to getting the premier league goalscoring record.

I agree. It's not about winning a Bundesliga; it's about the big picture. Playing for one of the biggest, most successful, most prestigious clubs in the world as part of a team which will be deadly serious about winning the Champions League this year.

If we do the data based recruitment, best choice is Muani, who looks PSG bound.
Other than him, Jonathan David & Orban have very good data match up, except for lack of aerial prowess.
Vlahovic is a no go for me.

Orban is my preferred choice as his ceiling is not yet defined. Cost wise, also 25m (quoted) gives us a good risk reward interms of outlay.

Additionally, I would like us to sign Toney who is known PL quality
Are you saying you’d rather Orban over Vlahovic?

Tuchel will probably get himself sacked in the next 18 months though knowing him!

This is some 4D chess going on here. Kane comes out and says he won't leave if its not sorted by Sunday. Levy accepting the deal before Sunday. Both are trying to protect their image. Levy putting it all in Kanes court by trying to call his bluff and seeing if he truly wants to move by accepting the deal. Now Kane has to decide if he wants to look like the Hero or the Villain to the fans.

This is a matter of who blinks first and to see if Kane truly wants this move or not. I personally think he rejects it with the baby on the way and Kate having the final say on this. This way he can look like the hero who rejected Bayern to stay at Spurs and the fans will love him even more.

Levy has made some shocking footballing decisions for our club, but agreeing to this a day before the season starts if true takes the biscuit!
Where do you draw the line though? Is it a week before the season starts? 2 weeks? It was up to Bayern to put up the cash which they appear to have now done. It's late, given the season starts this weekend but better now than August 31st.

It gives us opportunity to strengthen whilst the window is open and although I'm sad that he could be going, the club is always bigger than one player, manger or owner. We carry on.

If they start off the way they finished last season, he’ll get sacked. He’s only still there because BVB bottled it. He got them knocked out of all competitions & did his best to lose the league.

Nah disagree with this, there are loads of good arguements on both sides. The prefect scenario for EVERYONE was always he stays and signs a new contract.

I was totally in the "we must sell him now to avoid him going on a free to a PL team next year", but I have come back round to having One Last Dance, especially after seeing how we look in the friendlies.

Still stand by that most people either have forgotten or don't really know the pain of what that toss pot did to us in 2001. It wont be that bad, but we are now extremely likely to see our talisman and Captain leave us on a Free to a rival, again. It won't be enjoyable. Only time will tell if the One More Year will have been worth it. We win something, anything, it totally will. If we come 7th and go out of both cups early it'll have been a mistake not to sell him now.
One more year will be worth it because we'll have one more year watching a brilliant goal scorer - a phenomenon - playing for us. That's the point. You don't have to game it out beyond that any option where he leaves now leaves us worse off

The BBC just annouced the “deal on principle” as a main headline on the 1o’clock news. Remarkable thing to do given no reliable source (I.e either club) has confirmed this.

think German band the Toten Hosen wrote the perfect lyrics for this moment

Only one thing I know one hundred percent:
Never in my life would I go to Bayern

And Uli Hoeneß would be with me
I wouldn't open my door
Because it's out of the question for me

I have nothing against Munich
I would just never go to the Bavarians

Isn't life too beautiful?
To throw yourself away like that
And to go to FC Bayern

No matter how hard my fate would be
I would never go to FC Bayern Munich
What kind of parents do you have to have?
To be so spoiled
To sign a contract
At this shit club?

Not sure why people keep banging the German league dominated by one club drum. What is so different about the PL? Yeah, it is much more competitive and entertaining to watch, but it still doesn't stop Man City from clearing up.

Harry will do what is best for himself and his family, so he will sign a 5-year deal with us. It just makes sense.
