still think this is all PR

neither the club or Kane want it to be ‘their party’ that makes the final call.

club say they’ve accepted but it’s down to kane

Kane suggesting he’s happy so it will be the club that makes him go to get a fee.

a mess

Kane and his whole team look like absolute clowns
I’ve mocked Charlie as much as anyone and it might not even be by design but HK is now positioned perfectly and I am sure they have a much better idea of why might be available next year, as well as knowing the level to which DL has been prepared to go to keep him.

This whole circus is back room maneuvering between Levy and Kane’s camp to try to paint the other as the villain when Harry inevitably leaves the club. Fans are just caught in the crossfire.

What is commitment though, 1 or 2 year deal with a lower buy out clause available next summer - in kanes hands?

this is brilliant though, what a roller coaster.

fucking Tottenham always with the drama

Imagine we'll get a tweet later today from Harry Kane saying that he's decided to stay and that he's excited to give his all for Spurs this year.

Happy for everyone that was in the 'Keep Kane at all costs' camp, as I could understand their arguments (y)

But personally I'm already dreading what happens next Summer. I feel that the issue has been just kicked down the road, and with the contract situation, I feel it's just gone past the road and off a cliff.
Apologies for negativity.
Tricky one isn't it. Great for this season, but will it cause problems him leaving on a free.

Do we miss out on long term succession planning and key CB targets + Orban.

Most ideal situation is he extends contract by a year and then see how it goes under Ange

Kane camp and levy are talking now levy wants commitment from Kane if he doesn’t go now after he showed his hand an🖐️

Emotional Damage
Makes sense after Levy's basically spent the best part of a month negotiating this nonsense.

Guilt trip Kane into signing a new deal pls. Even if it's just a 1 year extension with a buyout clause next summer.

Have to think it was the return of the Bagel Stand announcement that started the indecision in Hs mind
