Bayern apparently still confident
āFor FC Bayern it was clear from the start: without the clear will and firm commitment of Harry Kane, there would be no negotiations with Daniel Levy.
Those responsible have kept in touch with the Kane side around father Pat and brother Charlie over the past few weeks and never had the feeling that the player could change his mind.
As of now, there is still no final go from Kane, but those responsible remain confident that the transfer will take place before the weekend. Everything is prepared!
@SPORT1ā
I canāt remember back to last year to recall why Levy didnāt bring this situation to a head then? You canāt make him, that was part of the problem all along. Itās very dangerous when players near the end of a contract as clubs have little power.
If he doesnāt go, I think itās more likely theyāve completely played Bayern and know what they were doing.Lots of blame to go around, but one of the big drivers of this mess seems to be HK's representation being unwilling/able to manage expectations with the buying club for the second time in three years.
Absolutely spot on here id say mate.Lots of blame to go around, but one of the big drivers of this mess seems to be HK's representation being unwilling/able to manage expectations with the buying club for the second time in three years.
Early night at the comedy club?Should you be drinking on a school night?
Absolutely. And Itās also disrespectful to Bayern, who have made a massive effort to seal this signing. That's fair enough. Maybe my wording was harsh. I just can't stand the dude's flip flopping after we've given him what he wanted. Pisses me off, especially with all the upheaval around the club.
We're THFC, not Harry Kane FC. You guys can describe his actions however you want to make you feel better, to me it seems disrespectful, especially right before the season starts.
Only joke is you at the moment. Youāve mugged yourself right off with that post earlier.Early night at the comedy club?
Bang on, just don't go to arsenal or Chelsea and I'll wish him all the best as an amazing servant of the club.Wow. The whole kaleidoscope of emotions on here.
For meā¦.if he stays, great. Enjoy the goals this season and his professionalism and gifting of experience in training.
Wherever he ends up, he ends up. Usā¦or somewhere else.
If he goes this weekendā¦great. Very grateful for everything he has done and I wish him well.
As for all the other fortune-telling and obsessive opinions as to where heās not allowed to go next and whether he signs a further contract or not, you lot will have an aneurysm. It is what it is. Heās allowed to make his own decisions.
Celebrate the days heās with usā¦.and the goals he scores.
And move on when heās not around any more.
Simple.
Or we buy another forward anyway and move on Richi next summer if he can't stay fit or isn't working out. Fwiw I want Richi to stay and I think he's good, but it hasn't exactly worked out so far.Youād think if Richy is as badly injured as alluded to, that weād say sorry changed our mind and bid not accepted now.
By not "pulling out', I assume.Gotta say, Levy's played a masterstroke in ensuring Kate was due to give birth just as the season starts, ensuring both their emotions will be all over the place, knowing they wouldn't want to make a life changing decision at such a time. I wonder how he pulled off such a plan.
