It is not even the point that he was sold to cheap by that runt of a waste of space Levy or that it is the day before the season starts but he has already set a new manager with great ideas on how to play football to fail. The runt hadn't even the balls to stay in the country when cutting the legs from underneath Ange.
I would be surprised if there is anyone on this forum or spurs supporters anywhere in the world who think that this fee will be spent on bringing in quality players.
We will all know the usual shit that comes out of the club that we tried for this player or that player but clubs were looking to much money because we have the Kane fee or we knew Kane was going so we already spent the money on the players we have already brought in.

Just when you think the miserable wee rat can't bring the football side of the club down any further he manages to do so.
Should have known better than to have a bit of optimism for the season under Ange when Levy is still involved with the club.
I fear for us now this season because with some of the players we still have they have never needed much of an excuse not to show and now watching are only world class player being sold on the eve of the season is going to affect the whole squad.
This could cost us a lot of points at the start of the season that we may not recover from.
No point in building the big stadium if you have no ambition at all. Fighting in the bottom half of the table all season will be were we will be I fear.

Moving on from Kane (I’m good at that according to Mr ex’s).
The talk of buying 3 players with the money, is why we never move up.
I know we need another cb and probably a few more, but a big club doesn’t sell a world class player and then replace them with 3 potentially good players, they would take that 100m and buy the very best replacement they could. 3 good players is not equal to 1 world class player.
Care to venture a name of a 100m player that would come to us?

So you are also not happy with how this has been handled – good to know.

Its obviously not simple, but its still quite normal to set a deadline. If x doesn't accept, thats on them. This would have made it easier to get in decent replacements and overall a more positive start to the season.

It’s not ‘on them’. We would have been left with a unhappy player, speculation throughout the season about who he was gonna join when his contract finishes next summer, all while Ange is trying to build something - hardly a great recipe for a good season.

These big deals just aren’t that simple. For example Brighton - who everyone keeps lauding as he best run club in the league - are having the exact same issues with Caciedo as we’ve had with Kane - clubs trying to lowball them and it’s threatening to disrupt their season prep.

All the best Harry. Hope you get it all at Bayern.

This is Levy’s greatest failure. Once in a generation player, one of our own and he’s off to the Bundesliga because we couldn’t match his ambition.

Absolutely fuming😡

I named my horse Kane in RDR2 and I don’t think I can re-name him.

Now I’m gonna have to shoot it in the head.
Bloody Daniel got a lot to answer for-I loved that horse.
Last year when playing RDR2 my missus named her one Richarlihorse

Looking forward to the quality recruitment tbh.

So looking at it....we will be selling our best player a day before the new season starts, disrupted Ange's start to his spurs career, signed a CB (not our 1st choice) after pre season tour with no time to bed in before the season starts, signed a couple of cheap punts in Soloman and Phillips, signed a relatively unknown goalkeeper instead of a premier league proven one and to top it all off Levy upped the ticket prices. Maddison and Ange are positives but the negatives far outweigh them so far. Once again we start a season in a mess and not fully prepared. Its so frustrating yet so expected.

Yep I'm hoping with some anticipated outgoings like PEH, Tanganga, Sanchez etc + a little left over in this summers budget + the Kane money would get us enough for those 3 or 3 similar.

Schuurs or Tapsoba e.g. €40-60mil
Eze e.g €35mil
Orban €30mil
Agree with the gist, but Eze would cost double that easily I imagine.
