Wow.
Alternatively you could not get consumed by all that and simply look forward to the season starting on Sunday.
This squad could pleasantly surprise you.
You can only control the controllables. Let go of the rest and find some peace.

This is the Harry Kane thread is it not?

Where did I say anything about not looking forward to the season, where did I say anything negative about the rest of the squad?

This is the typical reaction that I anticipate, I make my points by using logic, showing that there were different choices that could be made and showing the misguided nature of believing that there was little choice or it's Kane's fault. I tried to use evidence where I could, I didn't swear, I wasn't rude, I even said the only thing left if people disagree is for me to accept that people see it differently.

Your response is to suggest two points that I never remotely got close to touching on, which is misdirection, you also then claim I'm "consumed" and need to "fine some peace" because this is what people do, they try and insinuate your instability rather than argue the points made. I don't even know you're aware that's what you're doing but it is what you have done and I'm tired of it. If you disagree with me fine but don't try and make out that I need to relax or I'm down on the team or what Ange is doing, argue the points.

Orban and Tapsoba/Silva makes this alot more palatable.

I fear we'll be going opportunistic which flies in the face of the data driven approach we were lead to believe.
Not sure why Orban is mentioned to be honest. Nobody even knew who he was a couple of weeks ago. He's a young prospect. Agree on Tapsoba though. We need 2 established and proven players with the money. Not saying Orban wouldn't be good but needs to be viewed separately as another prospect like Phillips and Veliz.

We'll see what the next few weeks bring but I wouldn't be at all surprised if Levy has only been spending Kane money.
Because everything else we generate from the stadium TV rights and prize money just never existed? He can't spin that although there will be some in here that try to.

Silver lining to a bleak, dark cloud is that we no longer have an undroppable player so competition within the squad should be good.
A better silver lining. The uncertainty has gone and after the window has closed Ange will know what he has to work with over the next 2-3 years generally.

But we've got Richarlison.

We are patently not signing a new number 9 for mega bucks.

Not Muani
Not Vlahovic
Not anyone

I think you have to look at Vlahovic in the front foot attacking Fiorentina side rather than the ultra pragmatic Juve team.
This. The guy runs all day and is the right kind of profile for us. He’ll score ample goals in ange system and will press and get in behind constantly

Your original post was too long to read but to answer the first sentence about why we have to insist he's free to travel is the German media made some shit up. Our journalists asked the club and they said kane is free to travel. It's not the club being difficult or having to insist he's free to travel, it's just us confirming german media is once again full of shit

Nope. Kane has a year left on his contract, making the fee lower.

Unless players have short contracts or release clauses, £100m just doesn’t go that far nowadays.
Sorry, I disagree. There aren't very many players in world football who would cost more than £100 million.

1 or 2 at most. With every additional name that comes in for that amount you have to spend you water down the quality.
This is what i am hoping for. We spread the Bale money over several players and only Eriksen, and arguably Lamela, were mainstays in the team Poch developed.
1 top centrehalf and an elite attacking option to contribute to the goal outputs we've lost and we can hopefully regroup and develop again.
