We have signed Defoe where we tried to sign Arshavin.
Trying to sign Downing and when once we were looking at Diego Capel.
Both bad decisions in my opinon.

Appiah I agree with totally he is a class player and we have been begging out for a knowledgable midfielder for a while.

Ramos signed some great players for the club like woodgate, corluka and hutton.

Also another point is why do people rating huddlestone as the good and that he will become class. This will never happen even redknapp has noticed this by staring him the first couple of games and now he has realised he s useless and he has been dropped.

Redknapp is not the way forward he will just get us to the position that jo got us to as a above average premiership club with above average players, hence defoe and downing which is the reason no top four team has signed them.

huddlestone isnt useless you **** just too big and gets naturally tired and therefore unsuitable for a consistent deep midfield slot (quarter back lol). it could work if he was flanked by workers like zokora jenas or ohara but then you can only have one winger.

its truelly great to have hudd around. he can obv do a job in deep midfield, then also at cb. and would especially suit playing in the hole.. could even do a job as a target man. what more do you seriously want?

1) We don't need Arshavin

2) Defoe is an full England international and a proven consistent goalscorer in the premier league and is a forward not a midfielder like Arshavin.

3) Capel is not going to happen and never was anywhere near really for a number of reasons. Downing would be a great signing as what we REALLY need is someone to put in pinpoint crosses-others can do the flashy stuff!

4) You need to learn how to spell and punctuate and improve your grammar as this will help you present a better argument.
