I've kept quiet about him as I wanted to see a decent live match (ie not tv) where i could watch him.
I got that yesterday from the east upper. I thought he was Modric-esq the way he worked, the way he passed and mostly the way he hunted the ball from his team mates.
Impressed.

If Spain wants him and calls him up, thank fuck. A technically gifted young player who moves the ball quickly? England would ruin him.
Quite ironic if he choose Spain. England been needing a player like him to knit together the midfield for years.

And Bentaleb.

Bentaleb is a different cookie, very very talented but wild, he will make a good attacking player but wasn't disciplined enough for the CM role.

Mason and Carroll where nice technically but far less strong on the ball than Winks, Winks also seems more intelligent in distribution as well.

England don't know how to use a player like that. He doesn't score goals, so the fans and media won't understand him and they will soon be clamouring for the next in-form player who they feel deserves a chance.

Honestly, the whole thing's a circus. He's miles better off choosing Spain.

actually think stone is a real liability at the back but could play a role at DM where three behind him will cover up his errors

Is Stones good enough to play out of position in midfield just because he's a bit better on the ball than your average English clogger but can't defend for shit? Not so sure on that.
