Feel like Winks is the type of guy that couldn't really care less if he's playing for us, as long as he is still currently contract under Tottenham Hotspur, allowing himself to call himself a Spurs player still. Would rather be in reserves as a Spurs player instead of playing for a lesser team.

I think some of us need to realise that he is leaving his boyhood club, it isnt easy to just up and leave. Yes there is no way for him to stay at the club, but doesnt make it easier. He is a fan. Lets not forget we as a club have also played hard ball about players leaving - this works both ways and has worked both ways.

For his career he needs to leave, and a line in the sand drawn, for sure but we cant just have it the way we want.

It’s HIS future, he’s entirely entitled to decide where he goes, when he goes and choose something that suits him. Now it might be frustrating if you think it has a bearing on incomings or FFP or any of the other magic things we have no real idea about, but that’s the game. Get used to it.

Why are people so aggressively frustrated at Winks not leaving on loan yet? It’s not like we’re getting money for him that’ll be spent elsewhere so who really cares if or when he goes. He’s not freeing up a foreign player slot either, it’s really weird this desperation for a Spurs supporting footballer to leave turning into this level of vitriol from some fans.
