Harry Winks: Sampdoria plan to activate Tottenham star's signing clause

Sampdoria want to keep on-loan Tottenham ace Harry Winks at the club permanently and plan to trigger their option to buy, sources have told Football Insider.

It is believed that the Italian outfit can keep the 27-year-old at the club by paying Tottenham around £22million – a fee agreed in the original loan agreement. However, sources close to Winks have revealed that he is not yet 100% sold on staying at Sampdoria.
