Should be a good fight.

If it happens. I'll believe it when I see them in the ring.

Haye could beat Wladimir. He's got an explosive sort of style that the younger brother can't deal with very well, but Haye hasn't been properly tested at heavyweight yet. The Valuev fight doesn't count. I think Vitali would easily beat him though.

Yeah, as said, it's not on until they're both in the ring, in their shorts and gloves and the bells making a noise - wasn't this fight supposed to happen some time ago but then there was arguments over the purse, etc? Or am i thinking of another match up?

Either way, sad to say really as i sort of like the guy, i don't see Haye winning this unless he really ups his game in the meantime.

That's why Haye's waiting on him. Vitali will be comfortably in his forties by the time that fight ever happens, if it does. Vitali's got a granite chin that most heavyweights struggle with, never mind a jumped up cruiserweight. Wlad on the other hand is not as solid.

British fans usually travel well, but i'm not sure Haye built himself a lot of goodwill with his previous fix...i mean fight. Plus, i think this is not just another regular home match for Wlad in Germany. I was in Hamburg a couple of years ago when the Klitschkos were in town for a signing, the place goes mental for them (not much else for them to go mental about i suppose, apart from the football). Should be a good atmosphere.

How has this thread got so little attention.

I for one personally can't wait for this fight, the build up has been unusually quiet really until the HBO showdown was broadcast. Absolutely buzzing for it after watching that.

The fight is on order and 2nd July can't come quick enough!
