There have been others, but most recent was yesterday when I asked ‘THFC deal?’ in response to a Trix comment because I wasn’t sure if talking about Bayern and received this along with deletion of my post and exclusion from the transfer section.

We repeat the rules on multiple occasions, warning after warning is given and we show patience in quantity.

Yet, after all that, when someone breaks the rules or enough is enough, usually after multiple warnings get ignored, it's 'heavy handed', it's SC (or me) that's at fault, it's then that you care. The whole idea that the modding is heavy handed is an absolute fucking joke, look inwards and take responsibility instead of this pathetic childish nonsense.

You love a bit of heavy handed moderation and you know it.

I kinda like the idea of something along the lines of a six month ban for a first offence, then maybe a year, progressing to a full get the fuck out.

But then I also understand that's almost impossible to do for the mods so the best thing is to try to post in the itk thread as little as possible because to be honest, most of what's said there could go into other threads.

Are some people hard done by? Probably but we can't really expect the mods to keep a spreadsheet on each member and what they've done.

I got what I considered to be an unfair ban once and managed to grovel my way back, for which I'm very grateful and as a consequence of that, try to very rarely get involved with the itk thread itself.

It's easy to get sucked into the discussion but it's not so easy to do the sucking off that may regain your access!

I agree. I had a little gander at TFC when there were a few ex SCers melting down about @Archibald&Crooks (I mean, who wouldn't want to watch that?!) and Christ alive, that place really is a free for all.

So for me, this place is run pretty well and it makes it a nice place to be.
