He's been highly rated wherever he's been. Was on the cover of the American FIFA etc. Timed his club movements very intelligently, and proved himself in a good league. Remember there was a scandal of some sort a few years ago involving him and some other Mexican players. There does seem to be quite a lot of scandals surrounding a few members of the Mexican team recently to be honest.

Also until a year or two back a legendary FM keeper.
Was about to say.. on FM he was very very good

Not really transfer related but a google translated version of an article in todays's El Mundo

Hector Moreno is recovering at home from a broken tibia, an injury that occurred on June 29 during the Mexico-Netherlands World Cup match in Brazil. The whitish center, interviewed by ESPN Radio Formula, acknowledged that he had many options to leave the parakeeta template.

Inter, Milan, some teams in the Bundesliga and the Premier sighed to have him in their ranks. "Surely my injury prevented my transfer. Knew there were things on the table and were ahead. Missing But it was more complicated than that Espanyol let me out," said International.

And the blue and white body would let him go because he saw ordered an important cash income that would have gone straight to the Treasury. The injury prevented the defense left, as was his will according to his agent stated before and during the World Cup and Espanyol could lower its debt.

Recovery is now the only thing he thinks Moreno. "I'm doing well and I am very happy as I will recover. Want to go back quickly and my idea is to be one hundred percent in four months to fight for a spot and play." Since coming to Espanyol, Hector became a permanent fixture. His injury has slowed him over the sports area and Alvaro Gonzalez signed to replace him.

From the day he was injured, technical and medical Espanyol are in contact with the center to find out how being rehabilitation. "I'm constantly talking with people from the club.'ve Had many messages of support and I am calm," said the Mexican international. "I know that I value a lot in the computer and give me confidence for my recovery. Once ready, I'll fight for play." It is working hard to recover well and soon. He is confident in his chances.

It is possible that once the Aztec is the cienpor hundred and with the arrival of the winter market, Hector Moreno is pierced. Possible sale of three million people to be endorsed at the time his signing. The rest will be for the Whites entity.

Well the only relevant bits appear to be that he hopes to be in contention for a place in the team Nov/Dec, that a number of clubs were interested in him, Espanyol seemed in need of funds so would sell and it's possible he could move in Jan if he is 100 pc fit, it seems to mention 3 mill euros but that doesn't sound right, but I'd need to ask 'er indoors' or my daughter to translate all of it, I'm useless at languages. This is the Spanish version which is probably easier to understand than Google translate
