Point was, you denied saying something, I proved that you did. Now unless you expect me and other posters to have the power of telepathy and know 'what you really meant' then I suggest you just own up and admit you fucked up.

Haha yeah, you've seemed that type from the beginning, the bitter type more bent on dragging down others instead of making valid points. So sure, I'll let you have that one if it means so much to you.

Hmmmm, is there really any need for insults?

I wasn't the first to broach condescending and aggressive language, so how bought we just drop it then?
Consider it dropped, cant be really be bothered continuing to talk to somebody that resorts to insults and then false accusations to be honest.

Lol if that's what you believe then I agree it's certainly for the best we stay out of each other's hair.

I certainly don't see where DaSpurs said he was a primary target!

There is a world of difference between wanting to take a punt on someone and stating that someone should be a primary target.

I didnt say he did say "he WAS a primary target"... ever. I said I disagreed with Daspurs OPINION that Banega is good enough to warrant being a primary target. Heres my exact words "I do disagree that he should be a primary target" Which followed this post indicating that Daspurs wishes that he was...
I think you took that post a bit too seriously my friend, as I think we're all aware Banega and Batshuayi were not primary targets. ;)

However much I wish Banega was that is :shifty:
I dont really see whats so hard to follow.

Poor Hector Moreno. Visits SC in hopes of seeing how his new club's fans might view him and instead he sees this. Think about Hector's feels, guys.

Because again, "wishing" a player would be a primary target is different than saying "he should be" a primary target. Wishing implies personal belief, while "should be" implies as it pertains to the context of the club, tactics, manager, etc.

If you don't view it as a difference, that's entirely fine, but you put your agenda on your sleeve when you went out of your way to try to insinuate that I misspoke.

But yes, I agree, we should get this thread back on course. What say ye H&D? You think Moreno would be our first choice or brought in to play second choice after Vertonghen?

I was devastated when I saw the comments on here when I was transferring from AC Milan.
Still, it turned out okay.
Funny old world.

http://www.insidespanishfootball.co...ect-marseilles-opening-bid-for-hector-moreno/

Espanyol have rejected the first bid for Mexican international defender, Hector Moreno by Ligue 1 side, Olympique de Marseille as president Joan Collet deemed it too low.

Following Espanyol’s presentation of former Real Betis midfielder, Salva Sevilla, Collet admitted that a bid had been presented and subsequently, rejected.

“It wasn’t anything official, but yes, I met with an intermediary and a foreign club, who stated their interest in the player.”

Spanish sports daily, AS has confirmed the meeting took place and the intermediary was Bayram Tutumlu, along with Olympique president, Vincent Labrune.

The report goes on to state that Tutumlu and Labrune presented an informal bid of €6 million, which was deemed too low, but that will not dissuade the French side from continuing to pursue the player, but are waiting for new manager, Marcelo Bielsa to give his opinion before pursuing the player in earnest.

For their part, Espanyol are content to sit back and wait for a bidding war to ensue as the Mexican continues to thrive at the 2014 World Cup, as both Moreno and Uruguay’s Cristian Stuani’s stock continues to soar the deeper they go in the tournament, as Tottenham and Hull City have expressed interest but have yet to lodge a formal bid.

I thought it was a fair question considering he's a left footed defender, my bad.

Lol sorry wasn't just directed at you but it's the most commonly posted question on SC, from Chiriches to Dembele to Townsend to every player we're linked with, half of SC is obssessed with shoe horning a player into lb rather than the club doing something crazy and actually buying a lb. I even started a parody thread asking if my hamster could play lb
