First up i'd send an e-mail to Spurs, probably won't help but you never know. Secondly, i'd ring Bolton as soon as they open tomorrow morning, which i'd guess would be 9am-ish and ask them if they can help. Thirdly, you're a complete mug for leaving it this late. Mug. Muggy mug

Actually, scratch Secondly........you have to leave early dontchya? Replace Secondly with 'You aren't fucking going'

That's no help is it?

The official site says this:

If you have been successful, and not received your match tickets, the Ticket Office will confirm to the away club that you have not received your original tickets through the post. You will need to visit the away club's Ticket Office on the matchday with I.D. to collect a duplicate set of tickets. These tickets may only be collected if the Ticket Office has been informed prior to the match date, so they can forward relevant information to the away club.

So at least send that e-mail....you never know.

Is that [email protected]?

The problem arose when my dad realised he could no longer come, so he posted the tickets to my house in Manchester in Thursday's post... which should've arrived yesterday, which they didn't... but at the very least assumed they'd arrive today... which they haven't.

Cock.

send the email anyway but it won't get dealt with. emailing the ticket office is pointless for a swift response.
keep trying on the phone (or is it unmanned at the weekend?). if you get through to them you're fine, there'll be a copy waiting at the reebok for you. if you don't get spurs on the phone, i recommend turning up to bolton very early. take ID, one hotspur card and print off of confirmation of purchase

First class signed for

Get your arse down to your local sorting office. Mail comes in all the time. Explain the problem and if you're lucky and the guy you speak to is the right sort, he'll check if it's sitting there waiting for delivery Monday.

I seriously doubt they are gonna be open to the public at this time on a Saturday.

Yeah, they weren't

Hope you have some luck sorting it out mate, sounds like a real shitter.

Are there no phone numbers answering at either club? If you can just get hold of anyone they may be able to either help or point you in the right direction.

May be worth turning up explaining the situation and that there will be two empty seats to show where you were meant to be(don't suppose you know the ticket numbers or seat numbers do you). They may accept it on payment of the ticket value to be refunded when you present the original tickets, that's how it works at the Spurs when you forget your season ticket so may be worth a try as a last resort.

very helpful post

but ian murphy won't thank you for it, if it gets bandied around SC!

It's Ian Murphy's job to sort out ticket problems.
I had the same problem with Bolton away in the League.
I emailed paul barber at 10pm Friday night.
Within 10 mins I had a reply from Paul and also one from Ian Murphy to confirm I could collect the ticket from Bolton the next day.
When I arrived the next day I met 2 friends in the queue for duplicate tickets.
They had not been able to contact the club.
I emailed Ian Murphy from my phone and my mates duplicates were ready by the time we got to the front of the queue(20 mins).
Emailing Ian works !
