So as we all know we have a massive match coming up this week. After a long time trying to get into the CL we are almost there. After years of being called deluded by other teams fans for openly trying to achieve Cl football we are almost there.

Last week was a massive disappointment but the result was actually quite good. One goal behind and we have two away goals. Bale and Lennon are on form and Huddlestone is controlling the midfield really well.

However three out of our four strikers are injured and we don't know at the moment who is going to be available for the game against Young Boys.

So how confident are you of us reaching the CL this season?

It'll take a monumental fuck-up not to reach it the position we're in, but we've all been there before.

62.47% for me. i think the thing with YB's result in Fenebache is after one week to recover from the plastic pitch how many fit players you have left.
I'd be very surprized if it were easy though.
Reading BAE's and Bassong's recent interviews I do believe our players are anxious to put the record straight.

I voted for the "Should Do" option.

I've got everything possible crossed for us!!! I've even decided the t-shirt I was wearing yesterday is "lucky" so it's out on the line ready for Wednesday! (does anyone else think wearing Spurs shirts during games is bad luck or is that just me?)

COYS!

Looking at who voted for what, I'd hate to be kcmei. God, but having a mindset like that must make for a depressing existence.

My new mate from the kebab house said "Kıçını seyretmek".
His beloved Fenerbache were confidant after holding them to 2-2 in Switzerland. D`oh.
If we score first, we`ll win.

With apologies to any Turkish speakers who know what this really means.

Important we dont get too hyped up like the seville game a few years back. They scored 2 early on and it was catch-up after that.

the reason for that was because LYP was injured for that game, I think we played chimbonda (?) there instead and they exploited this well with both their goals coming down our left side. In the first game LYP dealt with their attacks down the right (alves and co) comfortably.

Anyway I'm fairly confident about winning wednesday however I also would not be surprised if we lost to an early goal and frustation creeps over leading to a nigthmare scenario.

dont care how we win though just win - by two or more goals

I remain confident. Nothing is certain, but I am confident in our ability to win by a couple at home.

We are the mighty Spurs who snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. Totally capable of getting a draw. Have voted for should do.

We'll get through this one no doubt. On grass, it won't cause our slow-turning CDs that many problems. Though we may still be a little short on goalscoring ability, we should be able to get a couple against YB.

Yup.. Kcmei's posts are so negative all the time, so i just whacked him on the ignore list. Personally i think the guy is just a massive WUM, so im not gonna bite, just gonna ignore.

Nah, that's the 'old' Spurs who 'always let you down' - this is the 'new' Spurs, who no longer have a soft centre.

'Should do'

I think we'll beat them, but not thrash them. I predict 3-1.

It wont be an easy game, I see Young Boys giving us trouble on the counter attack but hopefully with Ledley King at the back to stabilise the defence it will me managed better.

I see a Spurs victory and progression to the group stage.
