How does booing Gallas help?

Last night after the second goal there was some clear booing for Gallas although to be fair it died down after a few minutes and there were people in the crowd having a go at those who were booing.

But then when he went off just before the end, clearly injured, he got booed again. Gallas has often stayed on the pitch for us with strains or similar so he is hardly a shirker.

He wasn't to blame for the second goal (that was down to Naughton).

I accept Gallas had a poor game generally (Dawson was worse when he came on!) but if we are now reverting back to the times of having a go at players while they are on the pitch (which hasn't happened for a couple of seasons) then it's only going to make things worse.

I'd like to hear from anyone on here who was at the game last night and thinks that they were justified to boo Gallas.

To answer the question, it doesn't help.

A lot of fans were disgraceful last night, I'm really not enjoying going to WHL much at the moment, which is odd considering we're doing better than I've ever seen us do before.

ITK says Gallas muscle popped out, so I don't blame him for going off the pitch (I thought maybe at the time he may have jumped up front for PR purposes) and the fan reaction to that was shameful.

Yeah, I can't understand booing. A groan when someone plays a very poor pass, or the odd expletive when someone messes up, that's natural, but you hope they don't make the mistake again, redeem themselves, and having the crowd supporting them rather than on their back will certainly help that happen

There were a large amount of people around me (Paxton lower), going apoplectic about Gallas, Adebayor, 'arry would have done better, etc, etc, yawn, yawn.

I'd to hate to be around them when something that really matters in life doesn't go their way.
