Not sure why a lot of people think the 4 points from a dozen games is such a stick to beat Harry with. It's the truth....just as 2 points from 8 games was true for us.

Or have so many now fallen into the AVB post-truth world where all you have to do is make an assertion for it to be true?

He'll do better than Hughes there like he did better than Ramos or any recent manager at spurs. Bet of luck to him. QPR will probably be worth watching soon enough, although they seem like such a mess it could be a while before they sort themselves out a bit.

Saw SSN.
I wasn't too convinced by Harry saying he was on the verge of the Ukraine job, I think he got what he wanted out of that.

I am gonna put a bet that QPR finish above us. Not because i want them to but because I think it could happen. QPR have some very good players and actually set up for a 442 which Harry loves.

Im a bit envious haha.

It's all well and good selling him players if he wants them, and the likes of Dawson, Defoe and even Parker ( age ) could be made available BUT there is no point flogging them if we aren't going to replace them or worse still, replace them with utter crap ( see VDV's "replacements" )

I have an image of Harry unveiling them three named above whilst Levy is counting the dosh and AVB is forcing a smile at a press conference whilst standing next to new signings Kenwyne Jones and James Tomkins...

This would be ideal for a club working within our wage and transfer budget!
Can see Dawson moving first thing in January, and im sure Harry will be intrested in the likes of Defoe, Hudd and prob Parker to.

Levy will bleed them dry and we have money to improve our first eleven. (I do rate Parker, but you just know Harry want him and will pay way overprice for him).

It would be ironic if Harry transformed QPR and made them play much better winning football than AVB's Tottenham, I wonder what Levy's next move would be if that becomes reality

Seems like quite a few want him to succeed over and above their very own team so that they can shout " I TOLD YOU SO".....

Get a flipping grip and back your own team. We support THFC not Harry FC. Grateful for what he done with us but now he's gone, I couldn't give a monkeys what he does or achieves now!!!

He'll slap a bottle of ketchup on the table in front of the players, put chips back on the canteen menu, and tell 'em to just fackin' run around a bit in training. They'll be out of the bottom three before you can say "you plonker, Sparky".

Reading some of the posts on here this season and hearing these views last night in Rome tells me different....

Lets have it right we lost the spine of our side last summer (Modric/vdv/king) and 3 other squad members who Harry disillusioned. In return our new manager didn't get 1 single flipping target of his (Oscar/moutinho/willian) and has been unable to call on the likes of Parker all season and Kaboul/Bae for most of it. Worst still Ade's been out injured most of the season and when he makes a return he picks up a suspension. Even with all that against us people expect a clearly make shift team to wipe the floor with opposition. What planet do you guys reside on....?

It tells you that Spurs fans actively want Spurs to fail so they can tell people on a football forum "I told you so"??? Really?

Oscar wasn't his target and he is the sole reason why we didn't get him!
FYI His targets were Hulk/Willian/Fernandinho/Mouts/Carvahlio and Anderson. He also wanted Leandro as did everyone!

JJ, you said in the other (invitation) thread that Oscar could have been done but we wouldn't pay the money. Now you are saying it was because AVB didn't want him ?

It was clear from the beginning that avb was a no-goer. Watch how he transformed chelsea for the worse was enough (he had the perfect team). I think it's fair to say that avb is an amateur compared to harry

Daniel wouldn't pay the big money and it could have been done post Harry and pre avb but it was irrelevant anyway as AVB didn't rate him.

Is that opinion that fits in with your viewpoint regarding AVB or fact? It's no secret that you don't think much of our current manager.....

Fwiw his target list was still very good and would have improved our team/squad. The fact he got none of them speaks volumes yet fans still expect him to work miracles.....
