I think he'll keep them up.

Of course he will and so he should really. They have spent more than the rest of the bottom few clubs put together. Boswinga's better than Walker, Traore a better LB than Naughton, I'd take Granero in a heartbeat and Faurlin's more use than Huddelstone, and I'd swap Taraabt and Hoilett for Lennon, Dempsey (or Sig).

This is perfect Redknapp territory. He knows he can't do worse. He's already giving out the usual (Porstmouth, Soton, Spurs) tried and tested sound bites "we all know it won't be easy", "4 points from 100 games" etc. And like when he came here after Ramos I'm sure his chirpy geezer approach will be exactly what the players need to lift the spirits after the forboding thunder cloud seriousness of the analy retentive Hughes who I don't think I have ever seen smile in his entire time in football.

QPR are the perfect Redknapp recipe. A new slightly naive owner who he can convince to spend a few quid, a team who's position cannot get worse so even if he fucked up he has a readymade excuse. And a squad clearly better than their league position.

Agree with all of this apart from Traore vs Naughton. I watch quite a bit of QPR, my uncle is a season ticket, and i can safeky sayTraore is one of the worst left backs in the league

And Naughton is very underrated and undervalued, especially on here.

Even though he's not a left-back and is playing out of position there, I still disagree.

Got to wish H all the best. It appears that he impressed the middle men then.

I can understand the bitterness from some of our fans, it really disappoints me. In fact I find it embarrassing.

Granted I can see that people could be easily grated by Harry but to hold so much angst against a guy who provided the most entertaining seasons at spurs for 20 years, whilst providing good results, is a bit confusing.

Good luck H, except I hope spurs smash QPR when we meet

Sorry, which posts here are showing a problem with HR?

Edit: sorry I was reading a different Redknapp thread where the concentration was on something else. No/Little HR bashing in there. In my defence there is about 6 Redknapp threads right now

To put the record straight, I've never liked HR although I concede he did a great job for us. However, I believe he is one slice short of a loaf and he will never be a manager that succeeds at a big club. Rangers is an easy choice, can't do worse, has money to spend, and expectations are very low.

Green
Boswinga Ferdinand Nelsen Da Silva

Taarabt Ji-Sung Park Diakite Hoillet

Mackie Cisse

Subs/options

Goal Julio Cesar
Def Traore, Clint Hill, Luke Young
Mid Derry, SWP, Faurlin, Mbia
Str Zamora, Andrew Johnson

Light in defence and needs strength in centre mid but not a bad side.

Don't think they have the quality to catch up the amount of points they need to in order to survive relegation.
