Not Milner, but maybe with one of their creative players. Hell, I would throw in a few million £ and bring Nasri to piss off the Goons.
Edit: Actually, Milner wouldn't be bad. He does a job in every position he is asked to play. He's consistent and works hard, so I wouldn't mind him at all.
No, no, no. Along with Eriksen and, in patches, Adebayor, Hugo has been one of the few positives from this season. We should dig our heels and in and keep him. If we absolutely had to sell him, I'd want to see him go abroad, probably be to PSG for stupid money. Seeing him in a City shirt would be gut-wrenching and I don't think Hart is anywhere near his level.
Richards is an upgrade on Dawson, probably more consistent than Kaboul, and according to Bale, his toughest ever opponent. Milner, though less flashly, is a better winger than any of ours (excluding Lamela who can't be judged yet), and Hart although not as good off his line as Lloris, is as good a shot stopper. Plus they're all English.
Would be pretty dam good business if we're resigned to losing Hugo. Of course if he wants to stay then it's a different matter.
Hugo Lloris deserves to play behind a more solid, reliable selection of defenders. Him on the same team as a couple of those defenders we have is a disgrace.
I actually like Milner, veteran English player...not flashy but composed and reliable.
Richards can't stay healthy, we already have a major issue with out defence not being healthy
Hart...i would prefer Hugo, but if we were to lose Hugo we can get a good GK and not pay City-esque wages for him.
Aside from that.....City do need to have a couple English players on the roster, they may not start but they do need to keep a couple around i can't see them seemingly dumping all of them.
