He'll never be anything else but a Spurs legend for me, and I'm gutted that his last competitive for us was in THAT game. I'd be delighted if he decided that now was the time to hang up his gloves and become part of our coaching staff.

It's his old team and he can't even give them a 2 minute call to clear these things up?

Really???

However close it was to deadline, this is a poor excuse and he must have already decided he was sitting out his contract.

I wonder if things will change but it's interesting that Hugo, De Gea and now Schmeichel are all available at the end of the window. Has goalkeeping moved on that much? Are they asking for too much money? Or are they all just past it?
