Hugo Lloris has warned Tottenham must be driven by the bitter taste of defeat. Tottenham boss Antonio Conte suffered his first defeat in the Premier League this season at the Emirates and they have not won a league game at their bitter rivals in 12 years.

But Lloris says they must use the setback as a motivational force ahead of their Champions League trip to Eintracht Frankfurt before facing Brighton next weekend.

Lloris is not in a position to issue warnings to anyone, right after his critical error.
A run of wins would certainly lift the mood though - make it so!

Exactly. I was going to say I hope he heeds the words of his own advice. With all his experience, those kind of errors should not be happening.

I'm tempted to say, "your cock up cost us Hugo" or "I've been hearing this garbage since the early Poch days" but, to be fair to Hugo, what else is he supposed to say. Worthless quote and worthless interview.

I think he would be to be honest every one makes mistakes. Atleast he is putting in effort unlike a few others mentioning no names ?
He has bar the Arsenal game been one of our better players and as captain leads by example.

As per usual, the headline has very little to do with what he actually said.
