If this is genuine we would be stupid not to bid. Still a very good striker. But would need to offload Bobby or Ade first.

Don't see the point. 31 years old, if Schalke don't think he's good enough, why should we?
Rather we go for a young striker 23 or under.

He is too old now, if Poch. / Baldi / Levy bids for him, i will be surprised, Also he turned us down a few years back, as not good enough for him!! So IMO.. No thanks.

KJH has struggled at times in the Bundesliga. I'd prefer us to buy proven Prem quality. Having missed out on Remy and Welbeck, I'd love us to sign J-Rod

Maybe a Jan loan, I expect he is on pretty decent wages.

We need to get more balls into the box for a player like this to be effective. I would rather stick with Soldado and get more crosses into him, more through balls for him. He's a great first time finisher but rarely gets those chances inside the box.

Yes, I agree. he's in the same mould as Soldado so unless we change our style of play and get more service into the box its probably a total waste of money, plus as you say, Spurs already have someone here who plays in the same style.

Mind you, if we can sell Soldado for 11m plus and then pay 3 Million for Huntellar then its going to seem a very attractive deal to Mr Levy.

That's assuming Levy will accept a £15m loss... or can mitigate the cost from the purchase contract.. doubtful IMO. We don't need Huntelar
