...and it was a straight choice between Redknapp or O'Neil who would you hire?

Redknapp.
Always used to quite like O'Neill but he's too stubborn, hot-headed and impulsive. Always liable to make a rash decision and walk out on the club at a time of need.
He's possibly a more inventive tactician, but you only have to look at the reaction of a lot of the Villa players to see that he's not a good man-manager.
Not a particurlarly thrilling record in the transfer market at Villa either, although he's not had the budget that the last three Spurs managers have.
Anyway, I'll stick with Harry, please.

Redknapp, at least he's teams tend to be competitive throughout the season, unlike O'Neils, who tend to run out of steam with two months of the season remaining.

I was never the greatest admirer of Harry before he joined Spurs and I have always said that if we were to be appointing a new manager I still wouldn't choose him, but as he's here and it's going well we might as well keep him rather than upsetting anything within the club.

However if we were managerless right now and had the choice between the two managers I would choose O'Neil, but I wouldn't sack Harry to get him.

Not even remotely close

Unless O'Neill could provide his own leprechaun - and I'm not convinced he can - then it's Harry every time

Always liked Martin but can't argue with what Harry has done for us since he came in. Has to be Harry.

I could never support a manager that is happy with a draw at home to the top 6-as a result, its Harry all the way

If we were taking them both at face value, Harry before his time with us, it would be a real tough one. But I reckon still Harry.

I've just never really warmed to MON, don't like the tracksuit manager attire that he wears, that makes him a **** in my book.

That was potentially the only thing I liked about Ramos, he always looked smart.

Prior to Harry coming to Tottenham I would have chosen O'Neill. Harry had never impressed me before whereas O'Neill had.

I'm sure if this poll had been asked prior to Harry coming to Tottenham most of y'all would have picked O'Neill too.

Harry's since convinced me he's the right man for the job.

I was never a fan of Harry before he came here. But he has grown on me. Before I would have had Oneil any day but not now.

It would have been interesting to see what Oneil would have done with our (Harry's) squad.

Had this same poll been asked in 2004, MON would have won by a landslide. Both men had been in management for over 15 years, so we had plenty of time to assess them. In fact had the same poll been done just 3 years ago, MON would have won by a landslide. It just goes to show that circumstances under which the manager is working, as much as his own ability, are what makes up our opinions of them. What had Harry won compared to MON 3 years ago?

A couple years ago I'd probably have gone with O'Neill, but Harry's really done an excellent job with us, and "boring boring Villa" were found out last season.

To be honest ive never bothered what a manager wears and Brian Clough usually wore a tracksuit and MON played under him, maybe thats where it stems from.

As long as a manager wins games he can wear his jims jams for all i care.
