What about the other band members, are they Spurs as well?
My older brother also plays in the band, so he's Spurs, he's not a massive football fan though he does watch the big games.

The singer is a Liverpool fan. Says it all really.

And the bass player, err, he's more in to anything other than sport. So we've told him to keep quiet during the interview. When he runs, which I've hardly ever seen, he runs with his tongue out.

Stereotypying us bass players again....;)

Can we get some auto graphs before you guys turn into the next Beatles?

A pub napkin would suffice. :D

Good Luck to you and the Band Mate.

Good on you and much luck for the future.
I was on talksport years ago. Not because I am talented in anyway, shape or form but because I was an habitual contributor to the h&j shortstraw poll on their Friday show. They invite a few listeners to go to the studio for their Christmas eve show and I was chosen once. Mince pies and mulled wine. Deep joy.

I remember when my band had one of our singles out and it was getting played on the evening session on radio 1..Huw Stephens said about the band all being huge spurs fans which I loved but the fact that our bassist is a gooner made it even better :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Great influences, great image, great sound, great vibe - Rockin' (y)

Great sound for the US, especially.

Hope it all kicks off for ya. (y)

Yeah, we've had quite a bit of interest over in the US, and very nearly signed to Rich Robinson's label. Our ep actually made it to no.1 on the amazon rock chart when it was released, which is cool, although its updated hourly, but still cool.

We get played on a few radio stations over there too, one of which is a guy called Greg Napier who's well respected, he gave our ep a glowing review and played two songs back to back.

Go build a fanbase. Live gig your balls off.

With your sound I'd focus on that market, personally; helps that it's the largest.(y)

That's what we're aiming for. We pride ourselves on live performance, even our recorded stuff is done live.

Best of luck @gavspur. Great sound and loving the fact you are writing your own stuff.

Got to say your musical influences seem all good to me.

On a side note...if you're ever stuck. Not many can play the triangle as well as me. I must have been considered one of the true triangle greats back in school.

Why else would the teacher give only me the triangle?. Suppose it was a bit weird considering the lesson was P.E.:)

Do we have enough musicians on here in the Essex/Londonish area that we could have a Spurs Community Jam session? We could record it and try to flog it on here to raise money for the server fees.

If anyone is up for it I'll volunteer to play some guitar and I have a portable 24 track recorder which could come in handy.
