Apologies if im a couple of months late..i only just saw the film yesterday, so mods shut me down if im embarrassing!

But in 'In Brugges' , They're talking about the sort of people that go to purgatory...and Colin Farrel says:

"What? Like when you're not too shit, but you're not really that great either? -Like Tottenham?..Do you believe in all that Ken?"

"ABout Tottenham?"

hehe..had me giggling

Good Movie, some really funny bits in it as well. That bit really got me laughing though.

We also get name dropped in Notes On A Scandal I've noticed. A character in it gets back from a game which we've won 3-0 and mentions that Jermain Defoe had scored with a header (clearly artistic licence then!).

Still haven't seen it—but it's a great place for a beer-sampling weekend (as is Ghent).

Of course the best film we get name-dropped is in Bedknobs & Broomsticks!

That was the wonderful character actor, Phil Davis. I remember hearing him talking about Spurs before and I guess he wanted to show his support for real on the big screen.

We were namedropped in the film 'Kes'. The famous scene with Brian Glover during a PE lesson where the teams play as Man Utd and of course the mighty Spurs - who win of course. Brilliant film, brilliant scene. Makes it all the better the mighty Spurs are mentioned and victorious.

It's kind of ironic that the film is "not too shit, but not that great either" too.

Fantastic film funniest one I'd seen in ages. The speaks that CF's character came out with where very close to dougal from Fr Ted.
