if he is 50/50 to be available surely if he is available he won't be 100% or am I just being stupid again?

Well we still have a couple of days so it could just be a case of seeing how he is tomorrow, then possibly with a fitness test prior to the match on Sunday. There have been plenty of times when a player has played fine after having to go through a fitness test on the day of the match.

The problem with playing someone who isn't 100% fit is that they are more likely to have a relapse, so it's generally not a good idea.
I guess I meant match fit. Obviously his injury must be 100% but I was thinking even if he was off the pace a little he would be better than Davis

Davies certainly loses out on pace over Rose, but I think he's a solid defender and can do LCB and does for Wales.

Problem is we often play him as a wing back and as such loose out on attacking options from the left. Hence why we saw Son playing in the Chelsea match, didn't work at all as we saw. Son plays well on the left for me taking players on causes trouble at the touch line and in penalty area, but is no up and down wing back like Rose.

If he's only "integrating with some aspects of first team training" he won't play, doubt he'll even be in the bench.
I agree with you mate. There were people on here talking about him playing in the NLD! No chance. I think we will be lucky to see him on the bench v spammers. TBH I didn't think we would see him for the rest of the season. I think he has been a huge loss. And have to say I think if he hadn't of been injured we would have been in with a real shout to win the title, and certainly not be worried about being overtaken for second!

We've won what, 8 games in a row? If he'd been playing the best we could've hoped for is to be in the exact same position!

He didn't play against Liverpool, think we eouod have fared better if he played in that match.

He's been out 3 months

Yes, but we've only dropped five points since he's been out.... And two of those were against Sunderland in which Rose started and we kept a clean sheet. It just seems harsh to point out one defeat in the games Davies has started when we've won all of the rest (in the league).

He's got injured against Sunderland which we went on to draw, since that we lost to Liverpool which is pretty standard and won every other game. You could say that we'd be more likely to be in the FA Cup final had he not been injured but in the league his absence has hardly had any meaningful impact.

If we had beaten Liverpool we would have 2nd in the bag. We missed him dearly that game. But yes the team has had to work hard with the adjustments to Rose being out. And done very well. I just hope we have if for some of the run in.

Yes bit harsh. But I think everyone would take Rose over Davies everyday. I just think the rest of the team has had to work that bit harder without him.
