What did Rose actually do to his knee? The time he's been out, it must have been serious.

Wish the club would give us updates on Rose and Lamela.

Feels like so long since they last played.

Going by physioroom.com , Rose is 2 weeks away. Lamela is 2 months away. I would assume after this period, they would start 'their preseason'.

If Rose is back by end of September, around CL games would be good. There is a international break as well in between - that helps too

He had surgery at the end of the season as I recall.

ETA - “We can confirm that Danny Rose has undergone exploratory surgery on his left knee today,” Tottenham said in a statement. “He recently returned to training; however, the problem has not resolved fully, therefore a decision has been made to proceed to surgery. He will now return to action next season.” This was mid-May

Thanks. I recall reading that. I wonder if it was his ACL.

You have to seriously doubt if Lamela will be same player.A year is a very long time to be out. Most players out for that time never really get back to their peak levels.

Been posting in the Juve match day thread about Trippers ankle injury...

As an Emergency Dept doctor with another degree in Sports Medicine, I'd be happy to answer any questions people might have about players injuries or sports medicine issues in general...

This quote from Poch slipped under the radar

Not good news...

"In the case of Kieran being weeks away from the team, we cannot think that only Kyle can replace him.

“We are working (towards signing players), and we were working before, to try and find a solution.”
