I love the fact it's Charlie Adam he leaves for dead to score that winner.

Adam still tries to smash his arm into Bale's face, though. ****.
It's the only way CA can try & compete with Gareth.

As for Ireland we just got outclassed. It was going ok until O'shea got away with the pen should of been sent off(what is it about players who once they leave MU turn to shit, maybe a bit harsh, or maybe not). I was hoping for a slender defeat not a hammering. Think I'll stick with the GAA & THFC.

Take Donovan out of the USA attack and they shut down. Stoppage time win against Antigua and Barbuda in a game they had to win...

I was at the Aviva last night for the Irish match. Ireland were fucking woeful, terrible, but that German midfield was unbelievable. Schweinsteiger, Ozil, Khedeira, mueller, rues.. Then Kroos. All played the Irish off the park. And I was suprised at just how good Klose is in the flesh.

Shelvey fucking creeps me out...
Apparently he's got the same medical condition that the ref Collina has, which results in a complete inability to grow hair. In the most extreme cases they don't even have eyebrows and eyelashes. He's a creepy dude but at least there's a legitimate reason for it.

Just seen the Walcott incident for the first time, I was watching an entertaining 1-1 draw between Switzerland and Norway last night.

How the fuck can keepers be allowed to do that? If an outfield player goes in like that it's a penalty and possibly a straight red regardless of him making contact with the ball first. No keeper is ever punished for jumping in like that and causing potentially serious injury. Walcott should count himself lucky if he hasn't cracked a couple of ribs.

The double standards and treatment of goalkeepers is for me almost as big a problem in the game as diving.

Togo v Gabon Tomorrow at 3:30. 1-1 from first leg. Winner qualifies for African Nations starting 19th Jan - 10th Feb 2013. We need Gabon to win so Adebayor doesn't leave!

i watched last night. he didnt play well..needs to up his performance if he wants to dislodge friedel. as of now friedel is in a much better form than him. on an other note, the goal he conceded was not really his fault. if theres 1 keep in the world that can get to that, its probably joe hart.

I don't see an awful lot wrong with any of that tbh. He parried a couple of shots, one which took a deflection and put spin on the ball, the other seemed to be hit at pace, maybe he could have parried them safer. The 3rd went over his head, nothing he could do with that one. But the goal was definitely not his fault.

Bit harsh here imo.

Saw a screenshot of one of the back-pages for tomorrow and apparently Walcott has a bruised lung.

This. The defence may as well have not been there for the goal. The first highlight in that clip he actually does very well to get the ball away from the incoming attacker after the initial parry. You can't blame him for not wanting to try and hold the shot, either, that pitch looked dreadful.
