Wales must be very disappointed to not win any of those games.

Ireland, just ouch!

I forsee a similar thing happening to England later though, I think the Boks will increase the ferocity again going for the 3-0 and England have used up a lot of energy trying to match them in the first two games, seen by the injury list getting longer and longer.

Wales made too many basic mistakes today to really deserve winning...although they've come so damn close twice now - and should have won at least one of those games. They need to learn to stay as composed as the Aussies were to win the tight games - something I'm sure they will, and it can only have been a good learning experience for the lads. Priestland needs to up his game or I'd get rid and give Dan Biggar a chance at fly half.

Ireland - yeah, fucking hell!

Come on you Saffies :D

Wales should certainly have come away with at least a win against this current Oz offering. Again, close but no cigar. Seems like you boyo's could do with some new half backs.

Fear for England a bit today. Shame we have not been able to field a seemingly first choice fully fit side since Lancaster come in but hey ho, that's the nature of the game. Always seems like we suffer more injuries than most though! Today would be a different game if we could field Corbs, Wood, Robshaw, Lawes and co. Might even have nicked a win on the tour at full strength ( optimistic but not unrealistic, I think anyway! )
Been an entertaining end to the season and sets up the AI's nicely.

Seemed like Ireland had no gas left in the tank from last week and New Zealand were on top form. Some of their offloading was undefendable. Still, we've blooded a few new players who will hopefully add a bit of depth when some of our injuries come back (it's not just England who have injuries ;)).

Aye, your lot needed to improve on strength in depth. It's crazy how you always seem to have a fully fit side come six nations time though.

Well I guess a draw is progress, could have won that but errors and consequently a loss of discipline made things tough.

Not unhappy with the draw but felt we were saved by Steyn's wayward kicking.

Well we have a tidy scrum half in Mike Philips but Priestland is atrocious with his decision making at fly half! Biggar is a quality fly half who should be ahead of Priestland by a coubtry mile.

We have problems at flyhalf as well. Not convinced that Farrell is ready yet, kicks his goals and solid enough in defence but in attack offers nothing, his default setting seems to be 'kick the ball away aimlessly'.

Flood plays 80 minutes, I think we win today. Shame but not a bad result at all.

Hopefully Ford is half as good as he is tipped to be.

Sounds like a young Johnny Wilkinson.

Wales are still the best team in Europe. How England are ahead of them in the world rankings is beyond me!

All European teams are still a long way behind the big 3 of NZ, Aus and SA...
Ireland would be by far the best in Europe (officially) IF Kidney played the 1st team....and not 'has beens' from Munster....It is not neccessary to include inferior players from Munster/Ulster....just for the #'political' expediency of doing so.....I do not mind having players who warrent inclusion....but many clearly don't. Last years 6 Nations was a total mess when Kidney's Munster bias cost Ireland a Grand Slam....and nothing will change...as long as that 'numbskull' retains his job.....On the other hand....watch out IF/When The IRFU see sense and play to win, at long last. Leinster Rugby is the way forward, for the immediate future....Sad that some remain blind to that fact....COYS!

Is it really that much of a problem? Crikey!

Hopefully they sort their shit out, as right now they are a long way behind. I struggle to see Wales being hammered by the ABs the same way Ireland were in 2 of the 3 games.

Ireland should be by far the best in Europe? As I say, no expert but that seems quite laughable to be honest!

Sorry Bingy but that's bullshit. The Ireland team has been on the decline since the grand slam. This thread is an embarrassment actually.

Errrr isnt most of the Ireland team made up of players from Leinster?

Kearney, McFadden, O'Driscoll, D'Arcy, Sexton, Reddan, Healy, Cronin, Ross, O'Brien and Heaslip are all in and around the first team. Thats half of the matchday 22!

While I agree that Wales wouldn't have been hammered in two out of the three games of the games, I think they would have lost all 3 and heavily enough in the third one, although not as heavy. New Zealand were just very good that test and I think other southern hemisphere teams would have struggled against them. Meanwhile, it's only 9 months ago where Ireland beat Australia, and quite comfortably in the end, yet Wales couldn't beat them in 3 attempts. The Australia team in the World Cup were a stronger team than the one that Wales lost to. So I don't think we're a long way off, we just don't have the depth in certain areas to deal with the players that were missing on this tour that other teams do. Plus New Zealand are head and shoulders ahead of the rest of the world.

Entitled to your opinion but I can't see how you can say Wales would definately have lost all 3 when Ireland came so close in the second test. I'm sorry but who are the grand slam champions? This Welsh team is better than the current Irish team imo so I think they would have had a better chance of beating NZ (not saying they would have, but anything the Irish can do...;))

Utter shit...that is actually a laughable post. By far the best team in Europe. Wales are certainly better, and I'm not sure Ireland are better than England or France either!

You came close to beating Australia too, but didn't get over the line. I think the same would have happened if you got close to New Zealand. I agree that Wales are better, but I still think New Zealand would have won all three test considering Australia won all three games against ye and New Zealand are a much better team than them.
