Then unbashful her.

haha. They're were at Nottinham together in her first year of uni but she left there for a London uni after that because she was homesick but they're in touch I believe. I might push her for some info once the she's done with her third year exams.

How can you get homesick in Nottingham? Great city (well it was when I was studying there) and only a short train ride away. Youngsters these days don't know they're born. When I was a lad......................

PoTL ripping into Harry may well indicate certain movements upstairs, as if PoTL is who I and some of the in the know guys think he is, then he's someone who is more than a little close to DL.

I am most defintiely not ITK...but I repeat: On Saturday, Dan Levy had that Dan Levy look of "I'm going to do something" (where the 'something' is italicised as it could be anything from presenting Wobbly-Chops with Ronaldo and Messi on the pitch before the Birmingham game to fabricating tax documents incriminating to Aitch and leaving them in his car).

Is Harry Redknapp tactically good enough?

Is Martin Jol tactically good enough?

Is Arsene Wenger tactically good enough?

Is Carlo Ancelotti tactically good enough?

Is Alex Ferguson tactically good enough?

Everyone of the above over the last few years have been questioned by their own fans as to whether they are tactically good enough?

And the only time they are questioned is when the team go through a bad run, as soon as they are top form and winning games then the whole arguement dissappears again.

Apart from the ones who would constantly question tactical acumen, so as form ebbs and flows over a season they go from "in spite of the tactics" to "told you so" to "in spite of the tactics" and so on...

You can even add Mancini to that list, so basically 5 of the top 6 managers in this country are not tactically good enough?

The only one who isn't questioned is Daglish and he hasn't been back in the job long enough but don't worry his time will come!!!

you can't help but be in awe of SAF when you sit back and look at what he's accomplished

I'd take him over Mourinho anyday of the week personally

As well as those two have done for us, it was asking for it big time to lump them in with three giants of football management

I think people are missing my point. It was to show that even the most successful managers like Fergie are still questioned about there tactics even after winning everything compared to some like Redknapp.

I’m not in the “Redknapp out” camp but to answer the “is Redknapp tactically good enough” question, I would have to say no. We can only judge by the matches we watch and the things we hear, but the amount of times he sets up the wrong team/formation and we go behind makes me believe that he is often unsure how to set the team up from the off. The funny thing is that he usually has some good ideas on how to rectify the problems. At half time he often can turn things around like the Arsenal games as obvious ones, but sometimes it’s too little too late.

For the people that do back him tactically, I want to know what they think when in his latest interviews he repeatedly just say’s things along the lines of “We’ve drawn too many games, we lost a bit of magic from Bale, he came back injured and was off form, so we lost our spark”

Does this not bother you a little? We have players besides Bale, if we play as a cohesive unit then being without Bale shouldn’t mean a massive drop in performances/results. Especially against the lesser teams. If his form was bad then why not rest him a little instead of rushing him back from injuries?

Last season Niko Krancjar started 19 lge games and scored 6 goals (more than JD, more than Crouch this year). This season he has started 2 games and has scored 2 goals. Do the 100% pro Redknapp guys not find this odd? Why has the situation with Krancjar got this bad? It’s not like he’s a 35+ year old player that was winding down his career. When Bale was injured, going through a bad patch then why was the guy that played a part in us getting 4th last year not used? Instead we purchased Pienaar who just waltzed in ahead of him in the pecking order.
