Walker is a good player, young, makes mistakes... but still good.

Chiriches hasn't played for us yet, neither has Eriksen and I am not sure a 20 minute Cameo away to Arsenal counts for much, so Lamela is yet to play properly either, so how are you basing these players as our best players?

These guys have been purchased for their potential and less for their immediate impact, though I would expect Eriksen and Lamela to get serious game time once bedded in.

This is a team for next season if you ask me... not saying we can't compete at the top this season, but if you ask me the plan is CL qualification this year, title shot next year once the team has settled.

This a million times. I think I'm starting to contract AIDS from all the posts about "Dis is how we shudd line upp dis yeer!!!1", not taking into account that it's not 1962, and the game is become a squad game. Having a squad that allows you to keep players fresh throughout the season without compromising quality is what seperates the best from the rest.

When you spend £30m on a player I really hope you are buying more than potential. Surely your buying a player who will enhance the first team straight away. Unless of course you are Chelsea.
