I believe it is! and if it isnt' I'll sit corrected....But it would certainly be a bloody long time.......which is nice....

All this talk about how strong the premiership is, its rubbish.
We have a strong top 4, the rest are useless, and it shows as we don't ever have teams doing well in the uefa cup, strength up top, but not in depth.

Agree with you Shanks, but I thought Everton were very unlucky not to beat Fiorentina, as were we v PSV, and Bolton did remarkably well considering they played there reserves most of the tournament.

The English league is a bit overrated and overhyped, but I'd still bet on the middle and lower teams beating the equivalent in Italy comfortably. Not so sure about Spain though.

Oh, and as long as Chelski don't win I don't care.

Couldn't that be then equalled levelled at most of the leagues then?

This is one of the reasons I'm not a great lover of European football, we've gone through a whole load of hype to end up with a game that is a glorified FA Cup final, just played in Russia.

The Sadness is that for some unknown (to me) reason british players are so over valued and therefore , in the main, not picked up...

I don't actually mind what nationality the player is for my team...as its the team i support...But yes i would like to see more British players playing for prem teams, But until they are realistically priced, you cannot blame any team for not picking them up. (IMO)

There were more English players than any other nationality in the semi finals of the Champions League.

I hope the Chavs don't win. I'd be morbid if they win the champs league. That would really be a tragic.
