Honestly Lasagna gate was worse in my opinion. Not only did we lose to West Ham, but also we gave up the Champions League spot to Arsenal. Here we gave it up to Chelsea but at least they somewhat deserved it by winning the damned thing, however lucky their win was...

Today has reminded me of the 87 cup final. We were favourites and tho we didn't play to our best, deserved to win. Ex York player Keith Houchen got the winner that day.
Today, after yesterday being favourites to get a CL place but for that cruel twist of fate, York won the play off and got promoted back into the football league.
Oh, if you didn't know, I'm from York.

Goons winning the league at our place was worse, as was lasagnegate. That said, I have nothing but contempt for Chavski....our rivals since the 60s & horrible, horrible fans.

It occurred to me afterwards, this was the last time our then best player played for spurs (Hoddle went to Monaco). I hope that's not an omen!!!

The last few games i felt empty watching us. Last night i felt empty and today i still feel empty. I cant bring myself to get one bit of joy at the thought of next season and im guessing im not alone. Even if we start the season epically, there will still be that thought 'we're gunna fuck it up'. I remember Hansson commenting on our title challenge (remember that? LOL) saying something like 'we wont do it because we are tottenham'. Thats exactly how i feel and felt then.

Of course im gunna go to as many games as i can home and away and i might even go away to europe, but i wont be expecting us to do anything special, it will just be a day out.

Im guessing im not alone at feeling like this?
Before February I had actually thought the old tottenham was a thing of the past finally, seeing us win game after game that we should and competing and almost beating Man City at theirs I thought we finally had put that to bed... fuck did I not see what was coming, so traumatized by what has happened since then I think I'll always expect the shit to roll in from now on no matter good things look...
