The day Jol dithered and allowed west ham to fuck us over so Arsenal could take our place was worse than this. Close, but worse.

I feel like someone has made a pact with the devil and evil has triumphed.
On the bright side if we had someone at our club who had connections with West Ham and Chelsea I reckon they're happy but that's not very likely is it?

This is without doubt the lowest I've ever felt supporting Tottenham. I just cannot believe what happened last night. How do you get over the season we've just had? Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Yes, we have ourselves to blame for not coming 3rd, but how the f**k did Chelsea win that game. Supporting Tottenham is bad for your health (and relationship)

The whole second half of the season has left me disgusted. I feel sick as a dog today, but I felt sick as a dog the day that Arsenal went above us after we'd build a 10 point lead over them. I felt sick as a dog sat in Wembley watching us let Chelsea roll us over.
Unfortunately there's no conspiracies or no one has it in for us. Its our fault, we bottled it. Again.

The last few games i felt empty watching us. Last night i felt empty and today i still feel empty. I cant bring myself to get one bit of joy at the thought of next season and im guessing im not alone. Even if we start the season epically, there will still be that thought 'we're gunna fuck it up'. I remember Hansson commenting on our title challenge (remember that? LOL) saying something like 'we wont do it because we are tottenham'. Thats exactly how i feel and felt then.

Of course im gunna go to as many games as i can home and away and i might even go away to europe, but i wont be expecting us to do anything special, it will just be a day out.

Im guessing im not alone at feeling like this?

I don't know why but part of me just feels relieved in the sense that at least we finally know our position. Maybe partly because the week long wait for the last game of the season felt so long and I was just anxious for the whole duration of it, then there was another anxious week long wait for the CL final. Also, the fact that I was so wasted when watching the game last night I don't think it hit me as hard as it should have. Maybe also because a lot of the second half of the season just really wasn't enjoyable.

It definitely sucks big time though, am certainly not denying that.

I went with no, it's not the worst day ever.

My missus lost a 11 day old baby to meningitis with with her previous partner 10 years ago. Other people have been through bad shit too.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest the result of a football game isn't so bad in comparison.

If this is the worst thing that's happened to you and you've got to the age of 30, or whatever, then I can only assume you're living a fairly blessed life! Thank your lucky stars and appreciate what you have every day. That's my advice.

Saturday, was a really shit day and I mean really shit, but I am not down about Spurs failing to get CL football, that chalice was thrown away months ago about January or even last year between may and august.

What happens during this window will tell us lot about where the club is going and I honestly think the Vertie transfer will be the biggest sign of all and it is not looking good at the moment.

We got what we deserved imvho, no champions league. we didnt deserve it .

the league goes until may 14th not jan 22nd.

we have team squad management who talk the talk and dont walk the walk in many cases.

all starts again in augest but mentally we will be even worse than ever and imvho we will also start new season without modric.

the way we play he is vital so when he goes people will see his true worth. and for what its worth i cant blame him for leaving either. he is is a little weasel for coming out talking shite but he is def 2 good for spurs set up.

The pain of relegation has long passed and right now I feel this is the worst day, so yeah. Hopefully, one day this will pass too.

And while i'm thinking of it..............

You know them threads that some genie-eye of another likes to create over in General Football? You know, the 'Lets all laugh at West Ham' or whoever?

Well you can be pretty sure over on KUMB or somewhere, there's a 'Lets all laugh at Spurs' thread right now.

And then you get some other class A herbert coming onto SC to copy and paste the latest woes being posted in a gooner forum or something. Guess what? Yep, field day being had.

We do too much laughing and concern ourselves waaay too much with the misfortunes of other clubs. And now its our turn to take it, like bitches.

My personal worst footballing day was when we got smashed 4-1 by Everton in the FA cup semi

My friend and I were school kids and we went up on a coach fully expecting to see Jurgen and co smash the Toffee's at Elland road on route to Wembley

The journey home was the closet I've even been to crying over football

Yesterday was probably much worse in real terms but obviously as a 13 or 14 year old whatever I was then football seemed much more important back then

I've been sat here for a while trying to summon the words adequate enough to describe the disappointment and emptiness I'm feeling right now - our season essentially invalidated because of something out of our control. We should have finished 3rd and not made ourselves so hostage to fortune last night, but nevertheless it seems so horribly unfair. The fact it was Chelsea, well, that kills me.

One of the worst things for me last night was, due to a friends engagement party, I had to watch the game in an Earls Court pub. I was deep in Chelsea territory and when Drogba hammered in the final nail I was transported to my very worst nightmare.
