This is from a reliable source. Been at the club for 2 years but left recently. He still talks to Ramos on a regular basis.
Obviously some old ground being covered.
I wouldn’t have posted this if it wasn’t reliable.
Ledley: Unless he grows two new legs he won’t even be the semi-regular defender we need next season. It could be game over.
The Board: They control everything. This source has worked at a number of football clubs and has never experienced the level of control that the Spurs board wield. They are businessmen which is why we have….
Comoli: We may not like him but he is a “Football Man”. And he has made a few iffy decisions but he is young and his lack of experience shows at times.
Kaboul & Taraabt were his decision. Jol didn’t want either of them.
He got Jol fired.
Darren Bent is one of his as is Modric.
The club does have a policy of “buy cheap, sell high”.
Ramos: Everything with him is black and white. If you play well you’re in, if you don’t you’re out hence the “who’s between the sticks this week” merry-go-round with Robbo & Cerny.
The Team: Those that will be here next season are not performing because they have already qualified for Europe. Those that are out next season not performing because…well, you work it out.
Fitness: When Ghaly went to Birmingham and said “We don’t do running at Tottenham” we all laughed but he was right. Alvarez got them running laps during training. It built their endurance and shifted the weight.
Nutrition: It wasn’t that bad under Jol. However, Ramos brought in Dr. “Baby-food” Escribano (to the annoyance of the regular nutritionist) who has delivered a more nutritional but tasteless menu.
The players are professional but human too, so expect to see JJ and little Aaron ordering the cheeseburgers at Barkingside McDonalds sometime soon.
And the biggie…
Berbs is gone! I was told this without asking. I said “I guessed as much, as long as he doesn’t go to an English club”. He asked me where I thought he would go and when I mentioned the Barca / Eto’o thing he smiled and nodded.
COYS!
