i wnt to turin back in feb and saw him play in juve v cagliari, was absolutely horrible and fans were not happy he lost the ball alot and his passes were zokora-esq!

I wanted him in Jan backed on his chelski perfomances but he didnt look at it at all,and sissoko looked far better for the few minutes pitch time he got.

Not really the commanding holidng player we crave

Cheers mate, good to hear an opinion based what someone's seen with their 2 eyes, not just a 'ooh yes please' cos of his name.

Have to admit I can't really remember anything Tiago ever did at Chelsea.. don't think that's a good thing

I don't think playing as irregularly as he has for a manager who clearly doesn't rate him is going to give a true impression of his value as a player.

A manager who signed him, or at least OK'd his signing. Juve fans reckon he's shite. He had his chance to join in January, dicked us about, missed the boat. Is he that good he's going to get another chance?

Fuck em all. The merest hint of doubt from a prospective signing... say Bye-Bye

Come on,how many times did Hutton turn us down?
It was really only a matter of time until the Tiago link reappeared.
I thought that he looked a good player at Chelsea and on those performances,he would definitely be an improvement on our midfield options.
I have not seen any of his games in Italy but he would'nt be the first player to be bad in Italy but very good in England!
At £9 million he represents far less of a gamble than the £8.5 million we spent on Kaboul last year!My only worry is that he seems to move around quite a bit - Benfica - Chelsea - Lyon - Juventus and the only place he has'nt visited is Spain,so by that reckoning he will probably end up there.

He was a utility player at Chelsea and didn't really register. Hardly pulled up the trees during his last English sojourn. So I can't see him wanting to come back, far less being touted to come back.

If he wasn't good enough at Chelsea for us to remember his performances, I can't imagine him developing so much between now and then so that he is the dominant midfield man we are after.

Anyway, I love Zoko Pops. So there.

Errr, I can. I'm sure a lot of general football fans can!

He was excellent for Chelsea, it's just he was there at a time where they were buying anyone and everyone and bought Essien (who I think we'll all agree is on of the best in the world).

Mourinho was even quoted as saying letting Taigo go was a mistake.

I don't know if he is that good that he is worth messing about for, just making a point that seeing one or two performances of a player who seems out of favour and unhappy may not be the best circumstances to judge him on. I would think Ramos would like options in midfield which enable him to change tactically. I don't know if Tiago is good enough to be one of those options.

simple - tell the goat!

Yes, that would seem sensible.

One of the benefits of The Goat is that we should (should, mind) see less WUMs.

Not that you're one of those, w8a. As I'm sure you'll prove.

Well if you will be killed if you name the source. Tell the goat your source. It will keep it secret and tell us. And I will belive the goat but not you. For one I hope this is rubbish. Simply because 9mill is a bit of a gamble for a player who might be as sh*t as he is for Juve. Or might be as good as he was for chelsea
