Here's a thought England, put the fucking ball in the box!
Lost count of how many times Harry Kane and usually a n other were in the box and James and Phillips and mount and Foden fucked about with it out wide and eventually just went backwards.
Too much quick quick, busy busy, work work, bang bang and not enough working smart, maybe Mount, Foden and Sterling is one too many of that flashy running player.
Maybe change for Grealish who actually holds onto the ball and sees beyond or even DCL to partner Kane up front.
Chances are Scotland will flag and we'll win this with this team anyway but I just think we're missing a cog.

mount and foden are good at dribbling in circles before giving it away. one of them needs to make way, mount IMO.

God this is dull stuff from England. Far too ponderous in the build-up, too many times the ball goes forward then gets passed all the way back to the defenders. Seems like there's little movement and no creativity. It's just ineffectual possession football, like they're waiting for the opposition to fall asleep.
