He's a goalscorer not a playmaker Dondo well in this England team at least. iQUOTE="werty, post: 7438051, member: 6153"]
Sure, I'd expect them to win. But booing the team just because they drew is a joke.

England aren't the equivalent of Liverpool. They aren't that good. They've a few good players, mainly in the same position, and some young players who should be very good but aren't yet.
Lol why do people get so offended when the crowd boos. How else can they show displeasure? It's a highly effective and appropriate response to this shit.
[/QUOTE]
Because it wasn't shit and has the opposite effect of making the players play better.

Doesn't matter how you cut that, Harry had a stinker.
As opposed to who? Who had a good game? Pickford did well but that's it.
I'm not going to say Kane had a good game but he can't be expected to win the game on his own. He was our centre forward and yet I didn't see one England player try to feed the ball to him all game. Short of saying fuck this going and taking the ball away from his own player and scoring what else was he supposed to do. Even at his best he'd have struggled with that service. Too many Hollywood star wannabes in that team.

He looked slow. Mind, England looked slow, I wondered if complacency was an aspect?
I have been thinking a long season plus I genuinely believe this was the one Scotland were prepping for. We look jaded. So slow on and off the ball. Really need to step it up v Czech Republic. Don't know why Gareth brought off Foden and kept Sterling on. Or even use other subs? Definitely didn't use all 5 did he? Poor from every single one involved.

Plenty of average players play for top clubs and have played in Champions League finals. I mean, we had Winks and Sissoko starting together in one.

As I said, you have a lot of good players, but mainly in the same position. You can't start all of Sancho, Grealish, Mount, Foden, Sterling, Rashford etc. You're GK is average. No good CBS. First choice LB is a RB. Two average CMs, albeit with good potential, who don't balance each other well. A striker who looks like he's playing with a 10kg weight on his back. France's first team is much better than yours, and their squad even more so.

Scotland have some good players, and a couple who would start for England. At International level the gap in talent isn't as felt as in club sides.
Its the midfield, almost always is. Who do you have?

How anyone can disagree Kane looked poor is beyond me.

He gets fuck all service from our team mate, he had a stinker tonight, looked slow, tired and weak... you are allowed to say it.
Hello mate. Sorry Im not quite sure on your message. You say how can anyone disagree Kane was poor but then say he gets fuck all service from his team mate. Cant be both?
Watched the game so please tell me as a striker how did he not fulfil his role as a striker.

DannyNZ why the neg? Do you not think Kane was given enough service?
Have no idea what you’re on about but could you use a bigger font next time as almost missed your post. absolutely think the service to Kane was close to nonexistent.

I could try and explain it to you but unfortunately I can't make you understand it.

He went deep against Croatia, a lot. I think he was told to stay forward tonight.
i agree but he must be sooo frustrated with the lack of opportunities coming his way; no wonder he drops back. As for whe Wanker Anchor on ITV Mark Putrid - what is his agenda against Kane; the one true world class player we have and yet he's the one getting in the neck all the time (as the Aussies say, the 'Tall Poppy syndrome'

Huh? England looked utterly hopeless from the moment Grealish came on.

Like I said I 'm not sure that was Grealish's fault but the team's not built around him like Villa is so any semblance of (albeit boring and ineffectual) structure collapsed the moment he cam onto the pitch.

Needed to have many more games of Kane/Grealish playing together to get synergy. Too late now...
You've got a point here.

When Sterling had the ball on the right, all of Grealish, Mount and Shaw were in the opposite touchline and not one of them came inside to link. Kane was also more to the left.

They would then go back to Rice who lacks any ability to break the lines or create passing lanes so we ended up going back and then wide again.

So much wrong
2 holding midfielders doesn’t work
Sterling is shit
Kane has zero service
Mount, fuck knows what he does
Start Sancho over Sterling, Grealish over Rice, Rashford over Mount and actually make a go of it
We’re going nowhere on this tournament being this conservative with attacking player we have on bench
After watching Spurs be shit all season, it’s like a continuation watching England
I'm not saying we shouldn't play Sancho but what's the point if the team won't put crosses into the box? I like to think he'd do it anyway but it seems to be frowned on going by tonight's performance.

We've got creative players...
In teams that play to their strengths.
Foden plays well when he has players close to him and lots of third man running. The same for mount.
Kane plays well when he gets the ball in pockets of space coming wide or dropping deep and linking play or getting on the end of things.
England play rigid with little movement off the ball and none past it. So we don't move teams out of shape.
Basically it's reliant on sterling or foden (or any number of the other wide men) beating men and creating or shooting.

It's not football I'm interested in TBH.

Cringe...hang on . I was saying Kane was getting unfair blame by pundits. thought you were disagreeing my mistake.
