Replace either Rice or Phillips with one of Grealish or Bellingham and you'll have that runner from deep supporting the play, getting on the ball, running beyond etc.

It's just too predictable watching England, and that's coming from a neutral.

McGinn is the type of player England need beside either Rice or Phillips. A true box to box midfielder.

As opposed to who? Who had a good game? Pickford did well but that's it.
I'm not going to say Kane had a good game but he can't be expected to win the game on his own. He was our centre forward and yet I didn't see one England player try to feed the ball to him all game. Short of saying fuck this going and taking the ball away from his own player and scoring what else was he supposed to do. Even at his best he'd have struggled with that service. Too many Hollywood star wannabes in that team.

Mate we hale Kane as a £150m forward, if you don't see comparing him to Pickford is a little odd I dunno.

Hello mate. Sorry Im not quite sure on your message. You say how can anyone disagree Kane was poor but then say he gets fuck all service from his team mate. Cant be both?
Watched the game so please tell me as a striker how did he not fulfil his role as a striker.

Kane has pulled us through games on his own, its what separates a good player from and elite player. If a player needs constant service he isn't an elite player.

i agree but he must be sooo frustrated with the lack of opportunities coming his way; no wonder he drops back. As for whe Wanker Anchor on ITV Mark Putrid - what is his agenda against Kane; the one true world class player we have and yet he's the one getting in the neck all the time (as the Aussies say, the 'Tall Poppy syndrome'

Totally agree, I still dont see whats wrong with saying he looked off the pace tonight.

It's been a long time since I've seen such a bunch of nasty, intimidating, violent, bigoted, racist group of ****s at the football. Real fucking throwback. 20k of Scotland's worst coming to London solely to cause trouble and scream about how much they hate their hosts. I always wanted the home nations to do well, but right now the feeling's mutual. Fuck off home, vote indy, leave us alone, put up that wall and choke on your haggis.

Exactly what I said. You have misread what I said. I said Kane gets the unfair blame. read again what I said.

I don't care what pundits say, he looked off top form, I don't think he is solely the reason England lost, but he definitely didn't look tip top.

One of the only times Kane received the ball in a forward area he created our best (if not only) chance of the second half wasted by James.
If he is central and forward no one looks to pass him the ball. He makes runs he asks for the ball he points where he wants it he doesn't get it. It's been this way for a couple of years now but the goals have still come and he's managed to effect the game by dropping deep and finding Rashford or Sterling.
He is not the most mobile but somehow we manage to get him involved in positions where he came effect the game.
These midfielders are supposed to be our best can they really not look forward early for passes?
