£14M is bugger all nowadays, let’s hope it gets done quickly
I get the feeling the announcement of this deal will be held back for a bigger one.

Finally, a trustworthy source announcing an incoming transfer by the Tottenham Hotspurs of London.
Yes, he had a scarf and a branded football.
Also, has anyone seen how the kid compares to Jarrod Bowen? Similar mould, but we’ve obviously decided to push harder on this one.
And another absolutely classic staple of the transfer window:
Bowen looked alright to me but lacking that little extra in a few departments. Very slow for example. Clarke is silky and capable of beating a man with both skill and a burst of pace. From the limited football I've seen of both of them I believe Clarke has a far higher ceiling and could become a regular in our side in a few years. Hoever, Bowen is currently way ahead of him but also 4 years older.
I may be pressing your knowledge here but for the £14m touted - good value?

One thing that hasn’t been discussed is that Clarke collapsed and had to be rushed into hospital in February during a match against Middlesbrough. He was given oxygen at pitchside after saying he wasn’t feeling well and the ref stopped play for 10 minutes. He was discharged the same night and was meant to be in good spirits.
As well as Leeds fans saying this affected the end of his season and his performances, it was never disclosed what the issue was, as far as I can tell. Let’s hope it’s nothing that could crop up again. No reason to think it is, but something to consider.
If you google him now it says he's 5' 11'Transfermarkt says he's 5'9" but in all the videos he looks like one of the tallest players on the pitch. Is that wrong or is everyone short in the Championship? Seems to have that Bale-like build which is very interesting in a pacey winger.

Danny Rose was quick off the mark. Well done Danny!
