He should slap in the request and issue a statement blaming all on the new owners, and be respectful towards the Club and more specifically the fans.

More likely we will tell him to sit tight and wait till January

Where we will be back with a 15m bid

When a player has his head turned it usually only has one outcome. Just as we all know that Toby will join United, deep down these Villa fans know that Jack will leave.

Leicester threw stupid money at Mahrez to make him stay and he still left the next season.

Right, I found the stuff I was looking for. From Xia before the new guys came in.

6. FFP is a burden and we need to work within the defined parameters over the course of the next 12 months and beyond and as we have done in the previous 12 months

7. To be clear, to meet FFP we need to player trade. No shareholding sale of any size will contribute to meeting FFP. We must reduce costs and increase revenue

8. Selling any size of shareholding in the club will not aid in respect to FFP

the thing is they are in trouble with FFP, and have now made 2 signings themselves and a loan, so surely they will be paying a pretty big fine, shame they don't punish clubs bigger for breaking rules

Perfect would be doing this after the deal went through. Villa board would be popular.

Thus is the problem though. He was promised by the old owners, not the current ones.

Only way this happens is if Steve Bruce decides he doesn’t want an unhappy player there, and even then the owners may just want to make stand for PR purposes to the fans.

the pressure on levy tomorrow to make a signing will be monumental, no doubt this will lead to plan DE&F

Still trying to work out how Dave Jenkins on twitter has managed to muster up 38k followers!? Surely he's bought most of them?
