my son is in the same class as his sister, he has just text her asking where he is going, Dunno was the ITK Response
I think Grealish’s family would know much more than anyone in this case. He might come her or he might not but what this does tell us is that he’s probably not at Hotspur Way

I'm actually optimistic over the thought of Grealish under Pochettino and playing alongside far better players with better movement up top. I'd much rather have him than Sissoko come off the bench.

Surely if the financials stack up, which I'm sure they will, then this can't be a bad signing.

Why are people getting such sandy vaginas about it?

There's far more upside to this than there is down.

i think the kid could be top drawer, but next season i cant see where and when he is going to play
he isnt going to play over the existing players we have imo, someone like Martial you could see but Grealish isnt going to play over Son, Moura or Lamela i wouldnt have thought
For me we always look lacklustre when Eriksen doesn't play, so i'd guess cup games, and it would allow us to rotate him in some of the lesser games, or at least bring h off early without as much impact.

Fuck Liverpool :banghead:

Seriously though what is the obsession with what other clubs are doing? We are on a different project, we do things differently and it has resulted in us finishing higher than Liverpool and 19 or 18 other clubs in the league for the last 3 years. We are not Liverpool, a team I hasten to add we smashed at Wembley this year, while we're mentioning beating teams at Wembley we also did Real Madrid and Yanited (in the league :shifty:)

Stop comparing our transfers to others, we work differently and have done for over a decade

Yes, but when your manager - who is the biggest single reason why we have finished above all those clubs over the last 3 years -publicly states that we need to change our approach and take more risks and sign earlier then you do pay attention to what others do. Both United and Liverpool have proved that you can make signings early on without crazy transfer fees in the current market.

All it tells us that Grealish sistser isn't stupid enough telling other people about transfer deals .

He could cover for Alli and Eriksen, not a terrible backup but I wish we would give that spot to one of our youngsters (Edwards, unless his attitude issues are the problem) or go back for Sancho (there was ITK in January that we could get him this summer). Or just play Lamela there and use money for Grealish for someone who can improve first team. Moura can also play in any of advanced midfield roles.

People are acting like he's some donkey. When he was coming through youth ranks people in the know about those things were talking about him being one of the best players of his age range around.

His natural ability has always been there, his problem has been in his head. If that's changed, which if anyone has seen him this season will say it has then I think he's being underestimated. It's a little irrelevant that he's been playing in the championship, Poch isn't an idiot he will know whether he sees his performances of being suitable level to be replicated in the PL.

If the price is good, personally I think he might be a really smart choice to act as Eriksen backup. Very gifted, only 22 and homegrown, give him to Poch to father him and he's got a lot of potential to improve and flourish playing with top class players. I bet he sees him as a bit Lallana esque in terms of where he's been.

If he's our main target it's shit though. If not I'm all for signing him.
