I would be absolutlely astonished if Levy included a buy back clause for Villa. Even if it was £50m or more.

He will want control of the player's future career, not the chance that if Grealish flourishes into a regular England international under Poch Villa can just trigger some clause and buy him back.

Christ, one look on Villa Talk you would think we’re bidding £10m.

Comparing it to the Richarlson transfer and how much Chelsea are bidding for a young keeper.

I know he’s come through the ranks there but the transfers they are comparing are for players that are playing at the top of there respective divisions and with clubs that genuinely don’t need to sell.

They should be comparing it to the James Maddison transfer, both similar players and ages. He was sold at the beginning of the window for £25m and arguably had a better season, plus Norwich didn’t get themselves into a stupid financial situation by, what I would class as, trying to cheat their way back to the big time. They gambled massively and it did not pay off.

I would say the offer is fair tbh and I think Villa will as well.

This isn't itk but levy would never give another club a buyback option on a player unless we were the one selling.
