And plays on the left for anyone worrying about Edwards development.

Very good point and something I neglected to post. That and he is more of an out and out winger when compared to Edwards, who we know can play as a no.10.

If we got Sancho I would be so gassed. While there is an incredible amount of quality in England youth atm, we would have undoubtedly 2 of the most talented attacking players in England, and while Kirby was talented it would more than make up for his loss as we don't have a winger.

Excited by what JJ has posted

I guess, there is interest
Also looks like he has other choices by the "fingers crossed" emoji. Probably us and Arse.

He'll need to expand his game a bit to make it in the PL though. That move of twinkling his toes and coming inside the fullback time and again will see any decent DM come and clean him out the next time he tried it.

Worked alright for Robben for the last 15 years...

Can't see us getting shit from chelski let alone talent. Man city is a much better option and it's about time our developing talent rep. delivered some fruit.

as one poster on here noted there is a really good opportunity for us to cherry pick top young players from Man Citeh and Chelski BUT it will require us to make a detailed case that staying at those clubs only guarantees a future sale to Watford, Bournmouth etc. whereas joining us gives you a chance to be in the X1

Interesting read and as ever the comments section is eye opening.

Thank you for posting.

I'd take him the same way I would have taken Roberts a couple of seasons back.

We have no obvious wingers, especially of his calibre. Usually he's the type of player where you'd say he is the best in his age group, but that accolade could go to a few players, but if we somehow got him, I'd be sticking him in cup games,. Only issue is we have Edwards. We definitely wouldn't give both game time, we might not even give one, but can't turn down Sancho.

As others have said I suspect it's half him trying to get a new contract. Last I heard is he was being offered the biggest contract a 17 year old has ever been offered.

His only 'downside' I say that as I have seen him mature over the last year, is that he is very or overly confident in his ability borderline arrogant. He used to hold onto the ball too long, and have to beat the same person thrice over, but I really like him. Always fooling players and as I say he has matured and become more sensible and his decision making has improved. Also has a lovely curler on him from outside of the box. Not seen one posted so customary vid

Reminds me a lot of Willian. Good pace and dribbles

It would be pretty sweet to nab the best youngster in the Man City academy after having to sell them one of our players.

Would absolutely love this to happen but it feels a long shot for a number of reasons...

...even though it shouldn't. If you're a kid at Chelsea or City you should be looking at us right now and thinking you could hardly find a better place to be. Regrettably that doesn't seem to be the case

You can probably get the same money as a youth teamer with them as you can being a break out star with us. In the unlikely event of getting game time at one of those clubs you'll earn more than our best earners. Tough decision in that respect.
