Makes me think City are either not too happy about the price they paid for Walker in the end,
or we blocked a different player from joining them

The sad thing is with us and City is that money matters more to us than it does to them. They don't need the money for Sancho, and can afford to fuck us around knowing that we'll still sell to them in future if the price is right.

We fucked up from the get go

If we insisted on him as part of walker deal it would have happened
We did insist by all ITK accounts. It didn't. You can do everything exactly the way we think it all should work and it still not work out because timing and opinions change perspective.

Well the simple answer should have been no deal and walker stays

I don't think you will find any club in the world willing to walk away from a record transfer over a dispute for an unproven, even if highly skilled, 17 year old.

No, but if they dont accept our offer he cant play games, and a year without competitive football would affect the kids development.

If the two clubs don't agree a fee then a tribunal sets it. If that was the case he'd only not be allowed to play if we didn't pay the tribunal fee. Maybe during all City's dicking about Dortmund came in for him, he's open to the move and Shitty are obviously more willing to deal with a team abroad.

If that was the case City wouldnt be able to dick around. From what I've read the tribunal is only set at the end of the scholarship, which has 12 months to run.

So effectively he can sign for us and train but cant play competitive matches.

Given how they've attempted to tap up Onomah and Edwards before maybe we wanted to agree a deal directly with them rather than have it go to a tribunal. Who knows.

Jadon Sancho to Dortmund agreed in principle, City have successfully priced him out of PL move. Story:

It's not *done* yet and it is a fairly messy situation to say the least. But basic agreement is there, including a negotiated transfer fe

Really disappointed and **** city if this is true given all the exciting ITK... we need an unhappy/sad rating that doesn't count as negative
