He showed us no disrespect whatsoever. Because he refered to Pompey as 'we', how else would he talk? He said nothing bad about spurs. People are bothered becuase he didnt say anything nice about spurs, as far as i can see he has no reason to say anything nice.

I reallly don't think he should have said anything. Not saying he's not entitled to privately support the club he's playing for but you just don't go around saying you want your employer to fail, simple as that.

He should have kept his mouth shut, because, as others have said, he has now alienated himself in front of probably quite a decent number of spurs fans.

I think we are being a bit harsh on him here. He was dropped from the CC squad at the last minute after being one of the only shining light in a team that was under performing till Harry came in. Then we loan him to Pompey and he cant play at Wembley due to the terms of his loan.
Doesn't every footballer want to play at Wembley? Lets face it he wasn't going to do that with us this season and you never know if it will happen again. I like the display of passion and emotion and lets face it footballers aren't the most intelligent of human beings. Besides we can all give him a bit of banter when they get battered by the chavs in the final!
