He deserves a thread, people always use the words hard worker and trier for him but he has shown he also has quality. He didn't have a great game against Wigan but still managed to make a crucial contribution which is a sign of a good player. He has also scored other important goals this season and i believe he is our top scorer from midfield. His passing is also good and doesn't give possesion away easily. He deserves an extended run in the team.

A lot of people are quick to crticise players here including me but i think we need to show some love to a Spurs man lol.

He never gets a break. Gives 100%, makes and scores goals, yet is normally considered an afterthought for the squad. I hope he really gets the chances he deserves. He is an awesome prospect for the future, I just hope he stays with us for years to come.

He's generally cack when he starts, but he can be a fucking genius from the bench. Take Pompey at home last season for example.

For a "mediocre" player he certainly scores some goals and puts in some performances.

Thing I like about him is good game or bad you always get a bit of heart and passion from him. Rest of the prima donna's could learn from him tbh.

His progress has been amazing, to have improved so much with a team that has been playing so badly just shows the character of the man. I believe he cried last season when he was dropped for the cup final, i think it will be sad if he misses out again. I think he has scored 4 goals from midfield already this season making him our top scorer from midfield despite barely starting any matches.

He was terrific tonight. Made a big difference. Miles better than that ponce Bentley. I've always like him because he's committed to the cause, is passionate and wears his heart on his sleeve. It's probably now the time to give him a proper run in the team.

forget about the passion, the guy actually has quality, would be great to see how he does when he has an extended run in the first team.

My dog's middle name changes, last season it was Berbatov, this season it was Woody, today it was Defoe and tonight it was O'Hara. He's got Tottenham in his heart; love to see that.

It is great to see someone wearing the shirt who loves it just as much as we do. He's living the dream on behalf of us all.

The two assists were excellent deliveries and he deserved his bit of luck for the goal cos he's a good lad.

Looking forward to loads of people telling saying he's average, mediocre, 'not top 4 quality' and my personal favourite 'won't take us to the next level'

Their reason? he doesn't play pin-point 50 yarders with the outside of his left peg.

I said he should start in our very first game this season v boro

had he done so our season could be very different (actually seeing how hopeless JR was - maybe it's good he didn't start)

have championed o'hara ever since

this is what I wrote before today's game

'very disappointed that once again bentley get s the nod over o'hara

how bad does bentley have to be - how good does o'hara have to be to see their respectiv performances rewarded

apart from that agree 100% with Harry'

No he doesn't have to have a thread. Why does there have to be an appreciation thread for every player after every match? Shall we just set up a 'Tottenham Hotspur players appreciation thread'?

Good win, happy days. Well played lads and also well played Burnley, a breath of fresh air watching a team try and play football compared to the majority of premiership football teams who play such negative football and have made the PL football matches rather boring this season.

He's so much better then people think.

Seems to score an awful lot of goals for a midfielder who rarely gets into the team.

The solid midfielder who can attack and defend in equal measure it seems and chip in with 10 goals a season. He isn't fantastic in any one part of the game, but the fact he is solid in pretty much every aspect of football combined with a great work rate and passion make him a good player.

He would be a first team starte for the likes of Fulham, Blackburn and many teams around us...sometimes we just dont understand some of the quality we have in the team.

He definetly deserves a run in the team.

O'Hara 100% deserves a thread

until he is a regular starter he should get a thread every game

and yes Burnley were great and it was a terrfic game

but giving them the freedom of White Hart Lane in the first half was a little too generous
