As a whole i think the team played well, and just lacked that killer instinct in front of goal. We are missing Son, but overall we looked comfortable on the ball with Dembele clearly the best player on the pitch. Long may this continue.

There are a couple of interesting quotes here:

It’s a joy to play with him and a nightmare to play against him. I was playing some difficult balls into him and wanted to say sorry but he turns them around.

It suggests that footballers have slightly different priorities than fans. Having a midfielder to whom the ball will reliably stick is a huge attraction to a defender who likes to pass. Before the match, I was concerned about the possibility that Mousa would dwell on the ball and get caught in possession (it only takes once...) near our penalty area. But he had plainly been given advice and had listened to it, because he moved the ball on more quickly than usual.

I just hope he can stay fit because that’s the main thing with Mousa. He worked hard to come back and I hope that he stays fit now for the rest of the season.

This also implies that there is more going on than the fans are seeing. How often have we seen the real, super-talented Dembélé, playing with freedom and power and without pain? His erratic performances over the past year-and-a-bit are consistent with a player who has been trying to play through nagging injuries that are not enough to keep him off the pitch, but are enough to cramp his style.

I think Son bring out the best in Lamela, Son has looked awesome def think we could be at least 6 points better off if he had played every game.
