What type a player is pjanic
An attacking midfielder. Sky sports stats on him are 3 appearances, 1 goal, 31 shots. Sounds excessive in 3 games so I doubt accuracy of all the stats. I hope so anyway. 1 goal from 30 isn't great :)

Pjanic can play deep as well; playing CM next to Bradley.

Plus Zeman has him out of favor so he'd be willing to move I think. Would be an absolutely excellent signing, no doubt about it.

He started tonight against Torino, on ESPN for those who want to watch.

Anyone follow @Gards44 on twitter? I think RyanTegan has said he has good contacts in the past. He's saying we'll go back in for Willian and are interested in Huntelaar

Willian will cost over £20 million so that won't happen and neither will huntelaar.

Its this sort of speculation that gets people all excited and then you end up with Saha, nelson or Dempsey and realise it was all a dream.

we were willing to pay almost 30mill for Mourts and its fairly obvious thats what we need

I reckon Levy is hurting as much as the rest of us atm so I think he would be willing to cough up for the right player

Levy won't be hurting like the fans mate he is a business man it's all about being professional and doing his job.

He will never truly understand a fans view and that's not being unkind it's just how it is.

This, i said earlier that the problem is that fans believe all sorts of rumours from shit stirrers, the media, twatter and so called ITK and then blame the club when none of it happens.

Until we get the new stadium and the extra income its no good hoping for top players because we can not afford them or their wages.

To be honest, Pjanic is a 'Levy-buy.' He's young, he's fallen out of favor at his current club, and from all estimations the price tag on him is reasonable. If the wages can be sorted, he's exactly the type of buy Levy makes. Plenty of time/potential to increase value. Once he gets here, if he performs as he has in the past, his value will only go up because he did it in the Prem and not just Serie A.

He's only played a total of 252 minutes for Roma this season. 1 goal, 1 assist. It's been stated all over the place that he simply doesn't have a consistent spot and that he's fallen out with his manager.

This goal, though... Wow (Hellish goalkeeping aside):

And just a regular highlight video:

Only nowhere near as good. Seen plenty of him, got a couple of clever touches but is way too inconsistent for my liking. I don't think he's anything special.
So as you seem to be someone who watches a lot of world football (or maybe you're just Italian), who would you suggest instead of Pjanic? (not Isco)

Nothing wrong with that. If only it were true for all Levy's 'Pjanic buys'!

Would also love to see Wellington Nem come to us. We were linked to him in the summer for awhile but nothing really solid.

I think he and Felipe Anderson would be fantastic hauls. Both young, Brazilian talents who could offer a bunch of cover at either wing and as an AM. Nem could easily slot into RW and Felipe would probably best be cast as our AM.

This is why PEA could provide cover on all three forward positions. Plays from a central role and scores goals, but his final ball from either side is awesome. Plus, the pace on the 2nd assist is incredible. . .

Video blocked from embedding but here's the link:

He NEEDS to be our #1 target in January.
