Was speaking to my client who has played against him.

Said he is incredibly talented and a very strong defender. Would suit the PL.

The only issue is he said he gets suspended for silly things like picking cards up for dissent and overly strong tackles.

He is suspended tonight where he was supposed to be playing against my client 🤣🤣

So he may be one that we would need patience with
Neither he nor Romero whinging about playing time because they’ll always be suspended when the other one is in. Genius squad management Ange has done it again

Would be very impressed if we could nail this down in early January.
Given that the barrier has been the number of personnel, there shouldn't be any excuses for not getting a CB in quickly. We sold Sanchez and didn't replace him at all.

Except you just know they'll always be suspended at exactly the same time.

I would be explaining to him how much of a mess Utd are at the moment and how their manager would be lucky to make it until the end of the season
And the thought of playing alongside Harry Maguire.

Could come down simply to whether he thinks Jim Ratcliffe is a c*nt or not. Assuming of course he knows who he is.

wow Nice has only conceded 9 in 16 league games thus far. 3 less than Lille which is next fewest and 4 less than league leaders PSG. When he's played they've conceded 8 in 14 and two of those were at PSG. They went 7 clean sheets end of Sept through November.

Not that one man makes a defence but pretty good signs I'd say

I’ll be extremely excited if we pull this off.

1. Because he’s a class player. Pace and physicality is really good, he moves incredibly well in every way.

2. It’s a statement from Levy that he’s backing this manager which would be very exciting!

Levy has lucked out with this manager. If we'd got another manager that plays turgid football the fans would be putting serious pressure on him to leave the club.

If he doesn't back Ange now he's going to be in trouble if things go to shit again at any point.

We must be the only supporters in the world that when their club go to sign a player we automatically get the normal argument about game time and who will be left on the bench. Honestly couldn't care less about that if they are quality players and improve the squad get them all in and let the manager pick them when they are all fit that is what he gets paid for.
After the Chelsea game we could see that the squad depth isn't there and centre half is not exactly a position we are flush in.
I would definitely rather have more quality playing and sitting on the bench than worry who is and isn't playing enough.

Great post.

We must have the depth and this is the most glaring hole in our squad. There are going to be injuries and suspensions as we have seen. And if there aren't, every player needs challenges to rise to their best. We don't want Romero to peak at 25 after having won the WC and think he's got it made forever. And what if he decides to go to Madrid or Barca or something crazy? We have to plan to succeed, not fail to plan

Why on earth would Nice sell in January given the season they're having and he's having?

is his contract running down or something?
